From what I've seen.. I DO like the expansion, aside from the social ****. But why I won't buy it is different. So far from what we've seen they are adding some items, and 3 new careers. This is more of a addon pack that you buy for $10 rather than an entire expansion. For 6+ months this is all they have to show for it? I…
I go to every midnight release for games I'm going to buy, it's a lot of fun. Only thing is for some reason the Sims doesn't seem like a game you'd go out at midnight to wait for :?
Yeah it can be hard for kids to keep up with text longer than a paragraph. I understand, 3rd grade reading comprehension is difficult. P.s - never said it was dying.
This is truths. In my opinion the whole celebrity concept was cool, until I actually played it. Doesn't even take long to get 5 stars. At that point your phone is blowing up, oh and don't try to have a strong relationship with your kid either! If you do by the time they are a kid they'll have 5 stars and be stalked at…
Every WoW fanboy will try to make up excuses as to why WoW lost as many subs, it isn't coincidence. People have been complaining on every forum (more than usual) and they actually did quit. I've seen it first hand, number of friends quit. I used to play on a High populated server - now it's low. Sometimes difficult to get…
I encourage everyone to not give in. Big brand companies don't listen until money is involved. Look at Blizzard Entertainment. Going into the last World of Warcraft expansion the game had 12 million subscribers. Year later they have lost almost 2 million subs. The same needs to be done with the Sims franchise. Obviously…
Well it's Pets. Just as it sounds, you'll be looking after Pets. It's basically adding more sims to your household - you'll have to look after them. They are needy too. Personally it's not to great, I mean it's just pets. Nothing really to cool or game changing. I'd save money for Showtime if I was you.
"I have links I just don't link them - but trust me guys!" There you go, I fixed your post. You mentioning facts without a source just makes you look like a liar. After doing a quick Google search (hard I know) I come to this conclusion for you: A rumor =/= fact.
Lol. What an idiot of him to say that. EA was voted one of the worst places to work, and random employees have said they hated working there due to the little amounts of days off they have. Which of course doesn't make sense since every EA game I own feels like the same thing I purchased a year prior. If you can't tell I…
The game has been in decline since Maxis disappeared. Whenever I post this I usually don't have to many people disagreeing with me, because if you've played every sims game since TS1 you know what I'm talking about, and you've watched the game dramatically change. But thinking back to it the game started going into decline…
Exactly. Listen to this man people. I wasn't specifically saying you were uninformed, I just see posts on the internet and people think it's simple like losing DLC. When it's much more than that. It actually makes me sick. One part of me wants to think there is no way this will pass. Then I look at the Patriot Act and…
Who gives a **** about the game? Do you realize if SOPA passes then a game like this will be the least of your problems? This is much bigger than "we can't get DLC anymore"
They really have decreased it's like they regressed going from TS2 to TS3. Obviously since Maxis got thrown out the game has progressively gotten worse. TS3 was shipped with bugs galore, but it was new. It was fun, and everybody loved it if they got it to work. It's like people always say original games are more fun than…
It's basically just stuff the game should of came with. It really only gives you some items, and a lot of interactions. It's really crappy how EA decided to make it into a EP - but yes. TS3 is a plain game, this adds to it.
What you forget is people have been asking for these things since the original Sims game. So it's not like they are super quick to implementing things people want. I am sure they read the forums, but A LOT less than they seem to try to convince people.
Let me give you guys a history lesson. I'm all for magic in the Sims, personally MM from TS1 was my favorite EP. The only problem with this whole thing is: The Sims is catered to give off sort of a family friendly atmospheric type game. That's the way it is, and always has been. A lot of families who play the game together…
It's a rabbit hole nothing to really post. I think you just need some friends or something, I sent my sim in there with his date and he had two friends and he got prom king. Every sim I've made them go to prom have won queen/king. I think you just automatically get it or something.
I haven't had any glitches. Half the people with problems still have major mods in their game, or are doing other stupid things with it. Some just unlucky, and others just don't have the required CPU specs. I recommend this, it's one of the better EPs. For throwing Teen Party randomly your teen gives the parents a…
Yeah man, totally sarcasm. Don't buy a EA game expecting it to be some polished, playable thing. Generations is working for me, haven't found any bugs though
Actually you're wrong. Digital downloads don't require any human interaction after the system is designed, unless their is a technical issue. A computer automatically stores the names, IPs, etc of all the people who ordered DD. The computer distributes to the people also. No human interaction by EA. Of course if the system…
It has some cool stuff, but I feel like this should of been launched with the base game. They made an EP purely around interactions? Ones you should of had originally?
