http://www.thesims3.com/contentDetail.html?contentId=76507 Here's a link to my latest chapter if you don't mind reading them out of order. If you like reading them *in* order here's the first chapter http://www.thesims3.com/contentDetail.html?contentId=55561 If you have any comments I'd love to hear them :)
I don't consider preteen to be an actual age group and I certainly wouldn't want them in my game. IMO 4 childhood stages is enough considering you can't DO ANYTHING until you become an adult. What it seems you guys really want is for kids to grow between their childhood and teenage birthdays so it doesn't seem like such a…
martymcfly: It sounds to me that those people are just saying they're excited about a the first ep in general and hey, maybe they even like the idea of puzzles. They're not "singing praises" or whatever the crazy hell you were saying. They're right: if you don't like the idea/reviews of a game, don't buy it. People also…
I never bought a stuff pack, but I had all the EPs except university and I had a *lot* of furniture and hair etc. Plus extra content for whatever the EP. IMO EPs are worth their money but stuff packs? I'd rather the store for random 75 cent items.
That's no ordinary fridge you get from the culinary career. It increases the quality of food to outstanding no matter what the sims' skill is. And the food never goes bad. Instead, it goes bad at midnight after being taken out. It's definitely something to strive for.
The only problem with all those instruments is that there's only one musically oriented skill-- guitar. If there were clarinets and pianos and stuff, are they going to make us skill up in all of them? It's realistic but would be a pain. There was a suggestion in another thread that instead of "painting" and "guitar" there…
I have the same problem so I can only imagine it's universal. I kept getting a "can't build on uneven terrain" message, to I evened it up and it said the same thing. Maybe it's a glitch or maybe it's like that for a game related reason or MAYBE there's someone who knows how to fix it.
I'm not going to be able to whip up anything for this challenge this week unfortunately (not that I would stand a chance with all these wonderful designs O_o). There's only one computer in the house with TS3 installed and it's almost constantly in use, so I'm just not going to have enough play time. Plus, my Legacy family…

So I guess small doesn't really mean small it just means fit it on a small lot. Fantastic :D Though, seeing my competition I'm really going to have to work hard, everyone's looks so good!
One quick suggestion: change the gingham beach chairs into something more funky and earth toned. When I think gingham I think Stepford wives and the 50s. BTW I think you're an amazingly talented builder and designer and have loved everything I've seen from you. /fangirl
Fully furnished party deck? Relaxation area? I wish there was a place like that around here! Very nice work and very thoughtful, though unfortunately it doesn't scream 60s to me. I don't know how you could fix that though, it's certainly a challenge for the community lots.
If you still need legacies to read, feel free to read mine http://www.thesims3.com/contentDetail.html?contentId=55561. I cheated a bit, in not starting on the legacy lot (I prefer the beach) and by creating the Bandits. Otherwise I'm sticking to the rules ;) There are 5 so far, hope you like them.
I guess what really bothers me about the rabbit hole situation is that it wouldn't have taken that much more time to incorporate working buildings. I would have gladly waited a few months extra to have a truly open neighborhood. The fact that I have to pay $20 now for every building I want to open is ridiculous. Maybe they…
For Hunter S. Thompson, am I building him the hermit cabin he would've had in his later years (his Sim is adult) or the teenage bohemian bachelor pad he would have had in the 60s? I'm partial to the hermit cabin myself :D
I can't believe no one's taken Hunter S. Thompson. I would gladly make his house. 85 40x30 180 Redwood Pkwy RES Home for Hunter S. Thompson (edit for posting out of form)
To everyone who's complaining that their computers don't run the game properly, they have no one to blame but themselves. The computer requirements are labeled right on the back of the box, and if you don't know what that stuff means then FIND OUT. Learn what kind of processor you have for crying out loud. There's no…
I really like the game, especially the customization and living neighborhood. I can't be limited to one complaint though: -Like said above, no placing lots. What the heck? Why on EARTH can't we place lots? -When you go to edit town, your previous family gets 'reset.' -No cut scenes for milestones. -The lack of skill…
Seasons +1 (not like it needs the help) Holidays -1 Long live Seasons! I really hope it's the first one they put out, followed by Pets for its popularity.
