Thank you! That was the first thing that kept me from getting interested in the sims 4. Then all the rest of @#$% storm that has been going on since has sealed it for me.
They need to talk to SE about screwing up and then fixing things. SE admitted they screwed up, fired the bozos that did the screwing up, fixed the game and released it free to all those who got bent over by the original version. I agree they should start by apologizing for trying to do a half 🐸🐸🐸🐸 effort and then tell us…
That is exactly how I feel about things. I am not shelling out $70 for things that should be in my game that they might add later(or might not add ever!) and then most likely will have the cojones to try to charge me for it to boot!!
Well they didn't pull Sim City franchise and have content for that so I highly doubt they are gonna scrap the sims series. AS for fixing with expansions, Why would you want to pay for something that should be in the original game? They should fix it with patches. Personally I don't think they could fix it for me. And…
[quote=Vampattack. Boycoting it will not make them improve it. If anything it will make them cancel the whole game and any future Sims games. .[/quote] I'm pretty sure negative comments, reviews and people not buying WILL make them do something about it. They were pretty quick to give people free games with purchase of Sim…
I have a pretty decent gaming pc that I can put ff14 arr on highest settings and get 60 fps. So the loading screens shouldn't take long at all for a game like sims 2. Windows 8 might be part of the problem. I will say they don't take as long as they did on my previous pc. Towards the end when I got vacations and then…
While thats true the base game won't be that bad most likely, I have just started playing the sims 2 with all the ep and stuff packs. The loading times on my new gaming pc are crappy. It took a few mins to load. They need loading screens that are a few seconds like some of the mmo's. :D
Thank you for posting the articles. I didn't even read the hardcore gamer one after seeing some excerpts. I'm just glad this time I didn't buy the game for $70 and find out after the fact. I learned that lesson the hard way with the collector's edition of ff14. :x
Ok I can live without Cast although i like it alot. Open World: This is huge to me. I loved the open world originally because when the sim 2 released all those stuff packs and ep, not only was the loading screen unbearable but the vacation ep was so laggy i couldn't even play it. I ended up having to get a new pc to…
I might play without twallan's mods. I am going to wait to buy it to see how buggy it is before I take the plunge. If it's less buggy like the first two versions of the sims then yes I will play without it. If it is like the current bugtacular version, hell no! The only mods I had for sims 1 was a killersims cradle because…
(And by the way, EA, my idea of entertainment is NOT spending countless hours scouring the internet for workarounds and fixes, or uninstalling and reinstalling the game and its 10 EPs for the fourth time. I am a home-maker and mother of two young kids; I don't have time for this nonsense. I shouldn’t have to have a…
I won't be running out to buy it thats for sure. I am glad I didn't with Simcity although I have to admit it was pretty sweet my hubby and I got a free game each when we bought it. Game works good now. I think EA got the message loud and clear from angry fans. Last time I checked the game still has a bad rating on amazon…
 I think that is a bit extreme too and I can understand your anger as this is the 3rd time I have lost my family on the 6th generation of my legacy!! <insert alot of bad words> Even the mighty Nraas couldn't recover my family from university land. *CURSES!!* (mojojo voice)
The first three things you touched on make no sense whatsoever. LOL at people making posts about those. Especially "I dont wanna buy any more eps cuz i have all the sims 3s eps." Whaaaat? I fall under the not excited group but that is because they haven't shown anything yet. I think I will still take a long time to get…
Without seeing any of the game as of yet, its hard to say. I know I will not be buying it immediately upon release like I did with all 3 of the previous games. Seeing how I am a total Sims junkie, There is a 99.9% chance I will buy it somewhere down the line. >> Also if the price is truly $98, I will be waiting for it to…
As for the money part I will NEVER regret spending my money on the Sims and in fact I never buy an EP or SP that I don't consider being worth my time. When it comes to expansions I don't think its all the fact that they have repeated some of the favorites, its just that when they did it was either worse or such a small…
