I don't think I will like how the weather will like on the sims 4. Most of the land on TS4 are just flat and those who has higher terrains stuff are just background fx and the level of progress how the weather will change wouldn't be the same as TS3 because they need to change the FX every time the weather…

You can probably play the game at med-high settings w/ laptop mode checked. You can use the CD as an expensive coaster though. I've felt the same when I was playing SimCity. Not only does SimCity makes Towns, it can now also be used as a coaster.

I also find TS4 boring since you're the only one who's progressing (because of the removal of story progression). I Just love when my sim reads the newspaper and then it notifies me on whats happening on my town like someone got a baby/get married/etc

For some reason, the Force Vsync option on Nvidia's CP doesn't work anymore. I tried turning off the Vsync option on TS4 and tried forcing vsync on at the Nvidia CP for TS4.exe and the game kept getting 60+fps too.

I've installed the driver that comes with the laptop. The "Access Denied" doesn't show up anymore when turning on v sync. However, I still keep getting 60+ fps
