@janvel831: As I understood Zeek, they need the RoboNanny to take care of them which his Sim doesn't have. I might get that totally wrong though. Sorry Crin and Zeek. I misunderstood the post, I'm sorry. :oops:

I just wanted to say that I have a bot with the RoboNanny chip, the Friendly Chip and the Gardening Chip. She takes care of the kids without any issues, many time without being prompted to do so by me and when I tell her to. I don't know if this will help you but I did the same thing as you did and replaced all of the appliances and it didn't work. I then started to replace one at a time and that is how I narrowed it down to the fridge. Maybe if you try to just replace only the fridge it will work for you too.

I have started to experience the same problem with my kitchen and this started before the patch or ITF EP. The problem for me at least seemed to stem from the fridge and the only way I could fix it was to replace the fridge every 24 hours. I'm not sure if this is why you are having the problem with the mermaid, but the future shower, I think it is called Sonic Shower does not use water and your Sim does not take off their clothes when using it. I haven't tried the tub, but maybe it works on the same principle. Showers/bathing is supposed to be much quicker…
