I'm having the same issue. I just get a black screen and then it crashes. I fear my mistake was not removing the mods when I did the update, but I've repaired the game, removed mods, restarted origin etc and it hasn't helped. I've never had to remove mods when downloading an update before and I didn't read the patch notes…
How annoying. I'm not getting that one, they never make it to the inventory. It seems to be books. They pick them up, read them and then put them down but still act like they're holding them. From there you can't get them to do anything. Both my sims are writers, so it's making it unplayable.
So, I didn't think this was possible, but first an NPC spontaneously proposed to my sim and she accepted (I didn't get a choice), then that fast moving little blighter snuck a marriage on her! I only looked away for a second! Has anyone had this before? Any chance it's down to a rogue setting in the Command Center mod?
One of the things I'd really like to see changing in Sims 4 is the likelihood of getting pregnant. I'd like it to be more realistic. So there's maybe a 1 in 8 chance to get pregnant, so trying for a baby is more of a challenge (a fun one) and less of a guarantee. I know this won't float everyone's boat, so maybe it could…
Thanks, but I've already tried the repair and I don't use CC or mods. :-( It's weird, all was well, but my little musical sim isn't working towards his goals anymore either – he writes songs and they just don't seem to count.
I actually think it might be because I did a library cull not so long back, but it would be a shame if deleting families from your library meant you had no way to put them back in again.
I'm having an issue where my family isn't saved to the library and when I go into create a sim, it doesn't give me the option to save them. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this. I want to work a different family, but keep this one saved for later.
In Sims 4, I'm pretty much cheat-free (more likely to marry into money if that's the route I'm going down), but I'm also enjoying the way they've set up towns, so if you want, you can insert the kind of people you like and build the kind of friend/family groups you want. Definitely a perk for me, especially as you can keep…
> @pax1sw said: > Same in my game... (before I stopped playing TS4 a few weeks ago)... most of the game-generated townies were Evil and/or Mean and a lot of them also Hated Children. "Evil" little kids? Really? Finally had enough of it and started using cas.fulleditmode to change the traits of all those Evil and/or Mean…
I would love to have the repairman and the gardener back, it makes it so much easier when it's not your 'focus' but something you need. I'm currently going through a cheat-free phase and I'd like to have these things payable, so it's still like you've earned it. Hopefully they'll bring them in with expansion packs, or just…
Mine's a bit random – I go onto IMDB, pick a movie at random and take the names from the actors/actresses. It's quite a good way to get a random bunch of names.
I think I'm at the disadvantage of having come in quite late to Sim 3, so a lot of the functionality, and even the expansion packs, were already there. So this time it just feels like there's a lot missing.

I tried that. The only thing that's seemed to work, and I'm guessing at the reason, is deleting everything from within the fridge.…
Haven't had this yet, have had a little while away, but quite looking forward to it. Kind of hoping they'll follow with marriage & move in requests, like previously – anyone else want that?

I do like a lot of what you could do in TS3. I think they could make it a lot more like real life by having both. I'm a writer in the real world and it would be awesome to have a freelance/self-employed option alongside the writer career. In TS3 you had a journalism career and self-employed writer one, they've merged the…
