The comparisons to previous Sims are justified as this is billed as the next level in the series and yet so many things that should have been improved upon are simply missing, divided into other packs, reduced in quality, inferior in design and function given to us free 2 years after release. Its pretty obvious that some…
Its hard to believe that just 4 series in and with the release of Sims 4 we can already define a "golden age" of The Sims. Sims 4 really tore the legacy to shreds...
Yes I know but is the planned holiday an actual party or I can just call it Halloween do nothing and see kids appear like in 3 or do I actually have to invite people over for it to be a "calendar Holiday"
Is Halloween an event that neighborhood kids go trick or treating or is it now a party that I have to invite people over and organize in order for people to trick or treat (at the party)?
To turn this perspective around let's say someone says they are interested in getting Sims 4 and they ask how much will they have to spend to get any enjoyment out of it. How much would you tell them the initial outlay would be in one lump sum (Base + Packs)
yes but the MFP pack didn't offer itself as an over priced stand alone pack, to get full value for the money you paid, to take full advantage of all features you needed to purchase yet another, even more (too) expensive, pack...(regardless of if it was worth it or not)
Why not everything else beyond the road, even your neighbors, are an illusion anyway and since you can only play on one block without a loading screen might as well implement it
The foot prints and snow angels are animations that could easily just be formed on flat green texture (or any texture) as much as their flat white texture that supposed to be snow, that's strangely over shiny to look like water running over it..
The Sims 4 is already full of bugs and imperfections and broken mechanics I can't see why snow depth should be excluded just because it may possibly be buggy
But it's not complete it a half finished job - that's what you want? Sims 2 and 3 made us wait but it was worth it. Granting them permission to release a non solid pack will inevitably lead to even worse future packs released. If I wait 2 months for something that is complete (that isnt coming btw) I would happily do it.
Snow depth needs more time and effort you say? Then why are they releasing it half finished when they need more time and effort (implying they wont devout time and effort into this pack). As for waiting we waited 2 full entire years to get even a hint of toddlers, I'm sure we are all use to waiting ... correction desperate…
Wow this is just getting worse where is the Seasonal effects in this Seasons Pack. This "focus on other things" is getting more and more ridiculous. No gradual snow buildup, no sunburn, no hail what other surprises are we to expect from the release...
Yes emphasis on previous games. The Sims 4 should have more effects than it's predecessors, should offer more but it seems to be talking away just as much because the now overused, to the point of being redundant, excuse " focusing on other things", Doesn't "create your own holidays" really mean change weather and choose…
I can't believe that Sims 4 comes out 16 years after Sims 1 and it still has the same snow terrain as we saw way back then while Sims 2 and Sims 3 upgraded beyond Sims 1 and gave us depth. It feels like Sims 4 has some retrograde technology making them yet again remove features (snow depth) that really should have been…
Extremely important it's a Seasons Pack it has to have the fundamentals of the Seasons, so it should have snow accumulation not look like a crop duster sprayed white paint everywhere
You're looking at it the wrong way lol. They are the manufacturers and we are the customers and right now they are showing us a plane without any seats and still expecting us to buy that plane...
