@rosemow I thought that might be the issue :/ I'm going to attempt putting it onto my mom's laptop later, whether it'll work I can't say but I'm trying to be hopeful. Thank you to everyone who's replied to me and helped, I really appreciate all of you, I never would've been able to figure this out on my own.

I'd love to see cars back in Sims! I agree with a lot of the other comments that how they were set up in Sims 2 was best.
