After years of disappointment, I really like the way the Sims 4 is finally going. Snowy Escape, Cottage Living and Werewolves have my heart. But Journey to Batuu, My First Pet Stuff and glitchy packs on release left me frustrated and thinking it would be the end of the Sims.
If it’s not broke, don’t fix it - buying expansions and packs works fine. When you add everything together, it’s actually crazy expensive if you were to buy them all at once. Subscriptions are an absolute money pit, they’d lose me as a player.
Hard choose between the Sims 2 and 3. But the storylines of the Sims 2 will always have my heart. I’d just love to play it as it is now as a rerelease.
Fell like the Sims 3 really got the high school experience right, especially with generations. Different high schools, variety of after school clubs, prom, argh I miss it!
31, played since 2000. Was hooked on the first Sims, even if I did turn it off and refuse to play it after I heard the burglar music for the first time LOL
The Sims 2 lore and back stories of the pre maxes had me hooked, The Sims 4 ‘alternate universe’ just doesn’t do it for me with the blank canvas premades
I so hope that this is true. EA have been right with my gameplay, I don't play toddlers/children/teens much because the current content they have is really dry or just doing adult stuff. Sometimes I find myself skipping to birthdays just to make the teens adults because they might as well advance in their career/skills as…
I rarely restart, I get attached to the later generations of Sims. When the game is feeling a bit samey or everyone is becoming related it's time for a fresh save file :)
Still remember getting the Sims (1) for Christmas, a game that changed my life. I prefer the quirkiness of the Sims (1), the lore of the Sims 2, the open world of the Sims 3 and...well the way the Sims 4 is going recently ha.
I wouldn't buy this pack again if I had the chance. Create a Sim additions are vanilla - they're OK, everyone likes vanilla, but nothing special, same with the Build/Buy additions. Trying to organise one wedding is intense, I did all of the activities once and found it glitched a lot, sims not doing what they were told,…
Not always been the biggest fan of occult sims but this pack has won me over. The Sims 4 adding lore too! Don't think it'll ever reach the absolute beauty of the Sims 2 lore but it's a refreshing addition
I'd have always voted expansion packs, more money = more content. But the werewolves game pack has been outstanding, so I'm possibly leaning more towards game packs now.
