Yeah I started playing anyway and I haven't had any problems either. My main issue right now is the new world is a bit laggy randomly, I'm confused as to why because it doesn't seem to happen in other worlds. My PC is also a decent gaming desktop. Clearing the game's cache seems to fix it temporarily, but after a couple of…
This patch isn't really big enough to break mods, correct? Normally I wait for mods to update but I can't see how one bug fix and a painting could break MCCC or UI Cheats.
I ended up fixing the problem. The sim I was using was glitched. I made a clone of her in CAS and play tested, everything with the Paranormal career worked fine. Not sure what went wrong with her but oh well.
I'm running the repair thing on my game currently, so hopefully that fixes it. A bit bummed because I've been looking forward to this pack all week and the first day I get a chance to play it's not functioning correctly :confounded:
Love:* CAS * Graphics/Art Style * Buy/Build Mode * How easy it is to download new sims/houses off the Gallery * The customization and goal system of holidays * The more in-depth supernatural sims (witches and vampires at least) * How the game preforms smoothly in general Hate:* The lack of personality/depth sims have…
I mean, that's great, but I want them. Some of my best memories from the game involve funny things the burglar took or getting jump scared by the music in TS1. I miss the random events from the game. The only similar thing we have is Vlad breaking in and feeding on sims and they've seemed to tone that down because it…
I'm not 100% sure. I play tested for a bit to see if it worked and did things that typically pull in auto-generated sims such as hiring services, going to an active career, going to a restaurant, etc and I did not notice that it pulled any duplicates.
I wish the story was more complex and a little longer. I beat it in an afternoon, while focusing on other gameplay too. I also pretty much had it figured out before I went into the lower levels of the lab. I like the concept though, I love the world, the townies it came with, etc. I also wish it had more similarities to…
I always keep most of the townies. However, if I had to pick a few households to keep, the Goths, Pancakes, the Heckings and whatever househdold Paolo Rocca (marry him a lot)is in would definitely have to stay.
I wonder if there will be a way to get kid and teen sims to trick or treat though. Spooky Day was my favorite holiday from Sims 3, although trick or treating is glitchy sometimes.
Every time I get even a little hyped for a pack, I browse the forums and have it shredded and stopped on. I get that certain small details are deal breakers for people, but plum.
The one thing that gives me hope is that Sims is supposedly one of EA's biggest money makers. I don't know if Sims 4 is doing as well as the previous versions, but it gives me hope. It seems a bit counterproductive to kill a 18-year-old franchise that likely has made the company millions, if not billions. I don't know that…
I say no. I feel like Sims is a huge money maker for EA. Whether the quality of Sims games being released will get better or worse is up for debate, but I think the series is here to stay for now. If there is a Sims 5 I hope it's on par with Sims 2 or 3, because while Sims 4 has grown on me, it still isn't as enjoyable as…
