I have tried reinstalling once before, didnt seem to make a difference, Bobyo2001...Im not sure what custom content or mods are, nor what my specs are. Where would I find these and what should they be? Im not very good with that kind of stuff.

Thanks again, how do you control the story telling, I went to options and didnt see it? I also get bored and like to hop to different towns and people.

Thank you so much for the information, I was able to follow the steps and create households. Now that I have them can I play with them as well or will they just interact on their own and go places for my sims to meet?
