Good for you. I really did try to see the good parts of the game. And there really are some features that the previous iterations are missing. And don't get me wrong, I wildly apprectiate the terrain tools. It was a good step in the right direction. But for me it wasn't enough change for me to not be frustrated by the…
I don't agree with you. I think I have the right to voice my discontents with the game, because I have spent so much money on it. But I get where you're coming from and I respect your opinion. You've said your opinion. That's fine. However, and this is aimed to all the people who were in this thread and will read this…
Don't get me wrong, I really did enjoy it, but there was always a side that was frustrated. But even then, life is indeed too short to do things you don't fully enjoy.
I have tried starting new gameplay many times, but idk. It just doesn't feel right. I think I'm just gonna wait for TS5. Maybe I'll play The Sims 3 base game again sometime.
In reaction to the OP: I completely agree with you. After four years TS4 is still very empty and lackluster. How will another three years make that different? I just don't find the base game of TS4 to be a solid one. A base game should be a game of its own and with TS4 you really do need packs to make the game feel more…
This is honestly just so amazing! I was really feeling uninspired lately and this will add a whole new dimension to building! I guess they actually are listening!
Oh definitely all of this. I also hate it when it requires a pack to have a complete set! Like with the single tile New-York/Victorian style window from City Living. We already have the two and three tile version in the base game. So why not patch in the one-tile option before releasing the EP? This only confirms their…
I agree. The way that the game registers what a room is and what isn't is very restrictive. This is in the way a lot of times when building. For example when making an open landing, the first floor isn't considered a room. I feel like this is due to the way that building was set up in TS4. It's totally different from TS3.…
I agree a lot with what your saying. Like we're getting all these packs and new gameplay, but does it actually make the game more fun? I don't feel like it does. However I bought Seasons yesterday and I have played like 10 hours in live mode ever since. It really adds a lot to the lives of the Sims and it gives you a sense…
In the lastest patch they fixed the double-sided roofs. So now only glass roofs will be double-sided! Guess I didn't expect them to fix it this quickly! It makes me very happy and now the last point of this thread is completely irrelevant.
Well it's just what I decided for myself :) It's more multiple unsettling events for me that lead me to this conclusion. I also just really don't like how this looks. Of course it's all personal preference for anyone! Glad that you're able to see past it.
Okay so I don't like at all what they did with the roofs to make the glass roofs work. This is the final straw for me, I'm leaving the game until they fix this issue. Please read about it in my feedback post:…
No I'm not. Don't twist my words. All I'm saying is that nothing will change if the majority of Simmers won stand up. That's all. I enjoy the game too. I just feel like there is a lack of, well content in every category. But I feel like many Simmers just kind of grudgingly take it, instead of standing up. There's nothing…
I completely agree and I'm getting tired of this. It feels like I'm beating a dead horse. Things will only change if the majority of Simmers will stand up. The Seasons pack also doesn't have much new amazing stuff for build/buy. And the glass roofs are a patch, so I won't have to waste my money on that. I am excited about…
This. I was watching the Seasons livestream yesterday and they were showing off the new CAS items. And one of the Simguru's said that they have added so many swatches and that it was amazing. But like you said. If we would have that freedom in the first place they could spend their budget and time to add other stuff…
We definitely need terraced houses and semies. I expected that we would be able to build them like apartments when the CL EP came out, but then that never happened unfortunately.
Yeah you don't have to tell me this "my friend". It's their problem that they have made it extra difficult for themselves, I don't pity them. I pay a good amount of money for this and I expect it to be worthy. Period. You don't know this. For all we know they had it in the game and ended up removing it. And personally I'd…
