I've only played Snowy Escape for a few days on free trial, but there's definitely a lot to do at the festival of youth at least? At least if you're a child.

Bella's gorgeous now. The others look neat. Wish they'd done likes & dislikes so I had more to comment on. If you scroll up you'll see that Bella was originally described as Asian, and then in Sims 2 she is shown to have Black and Greek heritage; Sims 4 follows the latter.

There doesn't seem to be anything stopping a sim developing every single fear, so maybe it's better that there aren't a hundred, you'd drown. But do pack-specific situations trigger the base fears? Can a bad karaoke performance or poorly-knitted sweater trigger a fear of failure, or getting hit by lightning trigger a fear…

Bridgeport being so grey. That's the only TS3 expansion I've bought, Late Night, because I really wanted a city to live in. And... it's so grey... all the buildings, the lighting, I just hate it.

It might like slowly corrupt your save file? So I'd make a backup copy I guess. But other than that I think it's just annoying for you, if it's broken. I don't think it could mess up the core game files or anything.

There's already a Fear of Being Cheated On in the game. A lot of these are really concrete fears; I like that the EA ones are a mix of like "fear of fire" but also infidelity, "being judged", "failure". Hmm... Parenthood could have stuff like Fear of your kid growing up badly - or a Fear of your kid growing up…

I do prefer aspirations that are broken out a bit more than those ones, but what I really like about them is that there's three of them. Three distinct concepts and approaches to the basic topic, for distinct stories and sims. I want more of that. I want so much more of that.

I have no intention of buying either. Though frankly, I have to say, I'm not convinced that Paralives will ever really get onto the 'live' part.

There are very few "special features" I'd be okay with them charging subscription fees for and they basically amount to "things I wouldn't pay for" lol. Like actual multiplayer or something.
