This is the first pack I've not gotten on release day since The Sims: Hot Date (I was 13 for most of 2000, so I couldn't necessarily bring myself to the physical store for the release day of the first couple EPs, but I got better at convincing others to drive me day of until I could drive myself :D ) and I don't ever want…
https://twitter.com/SimGuruNinja/status/1301696721768996864 Ninja has his plumbob light set to flirty so maybe an improvement in the romance system is in the cards? I'd be happy with that. (not gonna get my hopes up too high on any speculation, though)
I really wish it would have been treated as if this was an amusement park, or perhaps more in line with it being some fantasy camp type place to send your sims to live out the experience, instead of it being treated like it is, where it's a real thing that exists in the sims universe. That would have been a far more…
I really don't like Star Wars, never have. I've never seen the films (any of them), never got the hype, it's just not my thing. The only way I could have possibly been okay with the pack being mostly SW themed was if they did it where it was a themed park/fantasy camp destination type place, and you stayed in a hotel or…
Whoever authorized this should be fired, or demoted. I don't care how many times they SAY that they are listening to us and that they hear our concerns and that they are making this game for us, because it's clear that they are doing no such thing right now. If this were an option in any of the many polls and surveys they…
Between "Casino" being one of the themes in the Spark'd challenge for destination weddings (especially with no associated theme in current packs), and this new hint about a destination to elope, I think there's a chance that the next pack could include a Vegas/Monte Carlo type world with casinos and weddings and romance…
I absolutely love the community packs! And this time around, my nephews (who are 10 and 8) LOVED getting to vote on all the stuff. Every time they were over, they'd ask if the next survey was out so they could vote on more things haha... I would be happy to have this every year or every other year or every single stuff…
I'm thinking maybe, perhaps, a few onesies that we can change babies into that aren't knitted. Just a couple to have the option be base game. Maybe it's just me being hopeful though.
I really hope that when kids knit, it goes towards increasing their creativity skill. I really dislike that with Eco Lifestyle, when kids make candles, it doesn't increase any of their skills (at least in my game; hopefully it's just a bug or an oversight that they fix).
I don't know, I'm guessing it'll be released 7/28. I'd be happy to be wrong, but I think it'll be 2 weeks from announcement to release, just like with Tiny Living. I haven't been this excited for a stuff pack in a while; It's gonna be a good one! =]
Since Eco Lifestyle came out, my game wants me to believe there's a new pattern in the flooring category of build mode that I haven't discovered and it's driving me bananas! If you have Strangerville, try clicking on the armadillo and weird alien thing in decorations, selecting the other color swatches! Those were the two…
I've got every pack (and zero mods), and I do not see it anywhere. It's not in the grocery stalls in San Myshuno, I put one of every stall on a lot (using bb.showhiddenobjects to include all of them) and sent my sim there to check them out and it's not in any stall there, and it's not in the debug menu that I can find.…
I went for Cozy Knits and the ball of yarn with the knitting needle... though I almost went for Nifty Knitting, and I almost picked the basket with the yarn or the sock icon. I wasn't expecting to enjoy so many of the options =]
I'm really happy with the results, overall. I LOVE the hanging plants, but I do wish at least one of the ceiling hangers were knittable, though. Maybe there's still a chance to persuade the Sim Gurus to design at least one of them that way? I wouldn't mind if they had most of the swatches in build/buy and only one or two…
I'm sad that #14 (the knit wall hangings with the puppy and squirrel) didn't make it, but overall I like a lot of the stuff that made it in, even if they weren't my first choices. I think enough of my stuff made it in here in this vote to where I feel better about the complete lack of CAS things I voted for being chosen. =]
I hadn't even thought of that, but now that you've mentioned it, I want nothing more for rocking chairs! I'm always really disappointed that there's not more craftable items for the woodworking bench when I have a sim that goes into that hobby.
I really hope we hear SOMETHING this week. Even if the release date is a little further away from the announcement than we've been used to lately, the silence is really disheartening, and I would really like to just know what to expect.
My nephews were with me when the survey came out, and they have had SO much fun voting along with me this whole time (they weren't really old enough or into the Sims enough during the first community stuff pack), so they helped me make these choices, and they are gonna be really sad if the little grim reaper and sad clown…
I really think the silence has to do with them wanting to bridge the gap between pc/mac releases and console releases so that they are released simultaneously because of the shared gallery. The release dates have been getting closer and closer together, and i would bet that they are holding back a little to try and get…
