  • The Sims 2 is still my favorite, hands down. I still play the same version of Pleasantville I've been playing since my first install. You can't beat a classic. Sims 4 is fun in a different way, but it still lacks charm. Charm will take you far. Take the charm of Sims2, the open world of Sims3 and the Saccharine malaise…
  • Really liking the interactions between the sims now. The addition of clubs in the Get Together ep is really keeping my interest in The Sims going at this time. I'm glad that the 'kookyness' of The Sims is returning with this expansion. For me at least, I grew bored of the game for a long while and haven't played it much…
  • Well if the bear can take an angry 🐸🐸🐸🐸 in the woods then perhaps the flies will have returned at least, like in the sims2. Death by flies is what this game needs, oh wait.
  • Still waiting for the Sims4 mental hospital...
  • Definitely, make their eyes bug out by pressing their tummies like in the movie Mask. Also babies should be remeshed to look more like this:
  • And more cow bell.
  • It needs a random yay interaction, more yay, less nay. Sims go yay and throw their hands in the air like they just don't care.
  • And sometimes you just have to up and walk away, referring to the OP. I remember starting out with this game being excited about it, liking it, getting to know all about it, to finding it's flaws, to discovering it's limitations to finding I didn't really know who it was at all. Kind of like a bad relationship. One that…
  • It doesn't make a lot of sense that they're no longer there. But it's a long list of things that are missing in TS4.
  • Yes, all three. #2 was a bit of overkill from what I noticed. I remember saying "more fires" in a feedback post, not just look at the fireplace sideways and your house burst into flames ;)
  • It's not such an entirely different concept as the TS3 store when you think about it, or for that matter the up and coming camping "gp." A "gp" I have no doubt is just a way to further cup up game content into smaller chunks. But only time will tell. I'm really curios to hear what the verdict is going to be when it's…
  • Oh you'd better believe it. This is the ride people are going to be on with TS4. $$$$$ And you thought TS3 was bad, get ready to play pay if you haven't lost interest in getting on the same hype train for a lower quality game that'll probably end up costing 2x as much than TS3 did. Good thing about getting into TS3 late, a…
  • ... Awesome thanks!
  • You can close it with the disk? I didn't know that. I always go into offline mode when I'm playing but I didn't know you could close Origin. It doesn't exit the game if you have the disk?
  • ... You have to put in a command line argument in Origin. Amazing they didn't feel that anyone would want to turn it off without having to search online for a solution. http://simsvip.com/2014/08/26/the-sims-4-turning-off-the-in-game-tutorial/
  • I'm glad you're pointing out the low quality of the meshes and objects again. They are terrible. If you look at TS2 or TS3 the meshes and textures are far more crisp. Perhaps, it is said people aren't using desktops as much so to go to games made for tablets and smaller devices would make sense. It's just that this isn't a…
  • This threads gone off the rails more than a few times, I doubt they'd delete it because of that, not to worry. Anyway, I have a LOT of pages to catch up on. Ya'll post a lot. The troll was obviously bored of the game as well, since they were here trollin. Anyway, carry on.
  • It was a troll y'all, trollin' teh forums n such. Sometimes trolls can be fun. I always like to imagine they really do live under bridges and have really tall orangish pointy hair and lack dictionaries, or spell check lol
  • lol redarted.
  • ... And of course it's posted with the lamest joke in the world.
  • Same here, always the same sims at college. I made my own university though which was a magic school. I enjoyed turning the team mascots and cheerleaders into werewolves. All of the teachers and most of the students were all witches with a few vampires thrown in for good measure. That was a lot of fun. I wish they hadn't…
  • And don't forget about the children building skills, they don't transfer when they age up to teens. Makes no sense to build skills for them and so they just walk around like little zombies with no friends :(
  • ... I thought it was fun to invite them home for family dinner though and then make them selectable, that way I could kind of kidnap them for a while so they could stay in "the real world." They did age up after graduating and moving back to the home neighborhood (aka the lots and family bin.) I kinda liked, kinda hated…
  • I remember reading a few people thought they looked like balloons with eyes lol, I never thought so. At least the default hair in TS3 doesn't look like they're wearing one of those plastic hair helmets like in TS4.
  • I have to disagree with you on that. Some of the townies in Sims2 were, pardon the expression, BUTT ugly. I fixed this though by unlocking career rewards to get the plastic surgery console and using cheats to make townies selectable and I would give them a makeover as they walked by. I haven't seen what I would consider an…
  • ... Alas the Katy Perry EP of TS3, I must say no. I wish this game could be improved with camping or even Katy Perry running naked through the woods swinging a giant lollipop while belting a yodel, but it's highly unlikely. I'd say recalling this game, taking it off the market until they finish it would be a more…
  • I have no idea, whoever is running the show needs to get a clue. I've said it before though, longtime players of the Sims series seem to have been thrown overboard in favor of a younger audience. Perhaps this is what their user demographics are telling them or whatever flunky they have running the business and marketing…
  • Folks weren't very happy with them after they did that to SimCity in 2013 either, that and the other problems. I have the game, it still has several issues which I suspect won't ever be fixed (or they say can't be fixed.) I'm not sure what they've got in their heads with limiting game play, reducing the areas you can…
  • I think it gives you the option of posting it on Facebook doesn't it, something like Farmville used to do? lol
  • It's still processing, taking a long time and it didn't record the sound which is too bad because her laughter and making all these gleeful sounds got me giggling. I wasn't paying attention at first but she just came home from work and started doing that. lol had to share. Edit: Must have been a really good day at work!…
