I'm thinking there is an issue with Origin. I've been checking other forums and weird stuff like this has been happening a lot recently. In my case, I bought a world and 2 stuff packs last weekend. That's exactly it. I've eaten at the restaurant twice, but yes, as noted, it wasn't gold. So I waited for it to become gold and it never did. Nor are there any hours for it. I'm still on the "eat at restaurant" part and not the "promote restaurant" part. Frustrating. I hate canceling opportunities.

Welcome! :D Basically, it's this: Hit Control-Shift-C, then in the box type in "motherlode" without the quotation marks. So just motherlode. Instant 50k. No spaces, no family name, nothing. That's for older versions of the Sims. Sims 1 actually. The coding for Sims 3 is different.

Well, if Bronwin's method doesn't help you, then you have a corrupt file in your install. Next step is to uninstall and reinstall, completely. Before you do that, try Bronwin's method again. Success! :mrgreen: I definitely have an issue with a mod somewhere. I may just start fresh, or pick through the folder and delete only 3rd party stuff. Either way, I'm beyond thrilled that Monte Vista and Riverview show up in the game now. Thank you, Bronwin!

I deleted the content from the launcher, and re-downloaded it, hoping it would fix the problem. I tried to install Riverview, and it said it was a success! Then I go into the game and Riverview isn't there. This makes me not want to play the game. :(

Nothing. :( Maybe it will help one of you though. My issue seems to be the stuff not installing at all. It says they are, but they aren't. If I exit out and pull up the console again, it says they still need to be installed. Gah.

EA seems to have a solution. Maybe. I brought up the console, chose to run without CC, and started a game. Exited out without saving immediately, then pulled up the launcher again. Same problem here. Some content is installed, but other stuff is not. I install it, it says it installed, but it's not in the game. This is store stuff, like Riverview, not third party content.

Puddytoes - If you pull up the launcher, and click on the downloads button, all the stuff you've bought should show. Highlight a file and you have the option to show the file....that pulls up the folder with all the downloads. You can double-click on each on to manually install them. :) That's what I'm trying next. Pets installed? that's the kind of glitching I'm getting after the install of Pets. People aren't sitting on chairs fully...they're halfway into walls. Weird stuff...all gltches that are new. I'm hoping for a graphics patch, because on my end it happens with base-game stuff.

Hi again. :) @mayhewjl - The issue is definitely not related to lack of memory. Yes, you want more memory but the issue is bigger than that. :D ResetSim didn't work for me. To be clear, I'm not looking to do anything illegal here. I just want to extract the songs from my PC, so I can listen to them on my MP3 player. #1 would absolutely be Seasons. I loved having a change of weather. #2 would be University, with the stuff pack Ikea. Having college to help boost traits was nice. Once I got that EP, I spent the majority of my time on campus. Of course, with snow in the desert. :P
