I find you have to really like the family you start with. My rotational family derives from my long legacy family. Like you, I really only played the one household. I found their lives going by really quickly without much purpose. I also found that I didn't try to play outside my comfort zone in fear of messing things up.…

Yes, it works awesome. I am holding out hope that MCC will develop something similar for University so you can pause your sims progress and still maintain rotation. My wish list, I suppose.

If you are using MCC you can actually pause the pregnancy before you rotate. I do this all the time when playing my rotation so that the baby has to wait for me to return :)

I've also noticed this has been happening lately to one of my sims. I thought it was weird that she flubbed the fix fridge scene and was electrocuted when she has level 8 in that skill. Good to know it's a glitch that's been widely reported. Maybe it will get fixed sooner and not later.

This happens if you move out a sim from your family to a new lot by themselves. It seems to reset the collections. I have found a workaround for it. When you have a sim ready to move out of the home, merge them to another household instead of to a new lot by themselves. Make sure it is a family that you aren't playing and…

Thank you for the clarification. I think the biggest change will be to move my rotation from Monday's at 2 AM to the Friday at 4:59 PM. What happens if you do go over the 4:59 PM time? I'm guessing this is something you have to watch carefully.

When I'm ready for my sim to retire, I always use the vacation days first. I'm pretty sure they make more money while on vacation.

Once the babies are born you may have to age them up to toddler, but then you should be able to move them to another household. It's not exactly adoption, but you will accomplish the same thing.
