  • Normally a Sim is sick for a few days. Have you tried orange juice to help cure them from sickness if none of the other options don't work? (Unfortunately this won't work for the simple living challenge in Cottage Living). Other than that I can only suggest trying out clearing out your cache in your downloads folder and…
  • Unfortunately, no. 30+ here; they should extend their age range as I know I'm not the only "older" woman who still plays the game. That's not going by this forum alone either but players that aren't on the forum too. Lots of 30+ year olds do as that was the intended age group it was aimed (as far as I know, it was…
  • It sounds as though Dine Out could really do with a refresh. Because of all of the bugs/lagging etc that I've heard about it I haven't bought it yet, and won't do until it's fixed. There's no point in really having a game that you can't really play properly. Other than that there is so much more that they can do with…
  • Is it sad that I would actually consider buying this? :D I do really like your ideas for this!
  • I agree; I love playing supernatural Sims but I really wasn't impressed with them in TS3. If they improve on them then like you I will probably buy it. TS4 is lacking in supernaturals so I'm glad that they've listened and finally included them for those who want them. Not sure how I feel about the addition of further kits;…
  • I agree with death being the only real thing that would need discussion other than sex and pregnancy. The only memories I have where I got spooked by the game was the music in The Sims 1, where the ghosts would appear and when the Tragic Clown appeared and would actually try to avoid those scenarios lol-but still, there's…
  • I would say that it largely depends on the maturity of the child whose playing the game. Would I recommend it for someone aged 6 and younger? No. But from 8+ (as an example) it really depends on the child and the parent. The current game is as vanilla as you make it I suppose (without the addition of mods which can make it…
  • You're welcome. :) It almost looks like a completely different world. I'll definitely be checking out the map replacements as this makes my Willow Creek look incredibly boring.
  • This is beautiful, you've done a really good job. :) I do wonder how people manage to get their worlds looking like this though!
  • Thanks for the heads up! It's one of the main things that irritate me about the game. Usually I have my Sims make food and then have the toddler have a plate of that. I'll try what you suggested though. :)
  • The highchair thing really irritates me; idk if anyone else has this problem?! Sims go to put the toddler into the highchair for food (which is what I've commanded them to do), they then go to do something else. Yet always without fail they go to pick up the starving toddler out of the chair, when all the toddler wants to…
  • Bookshelves Aquariums The games table Umbrella stand Cabinets Plants Just a few suggestions. :)
  • The cost of things are rising (for basic things) where I live and I'm unemployed so for me I can't really justify affording kits or Starbucks lol. If I had the money to be able to try out a kit; I'd be reconsidering (there are a few that I'd like to try in all fairness) and fair play to those who do. But atm it's a choice…
  • Playing the Sims is just something that I do as a means of escaping boredom or other stuff that is going on in life. Although I have other hobbies that take me away from my computer, the Sims is something along the lines of a comfort blanket. Which probably sounds a bit sad given my age, but I played it since it first came…
  • Congrats on winning. :)
  • I've yet to buy any of the kits because I can't justify spending £5.00 on them for what you get (even though admittedly some of them do look cute and would like to try them), if a kit like this came out I'd maybe re-think my position. I've been playing the Sims since it came out and these items I remember fondly and would…
  • Did the quiz and got "minimalist", wouldn't really agree with this though as my tastes tend to be a mix between traditional/modern and bright and cosy. I agree with another poster though in the sense that there weren't that many options to choose from. A fun quiz, though. :)
  • Voted for pottery; it'd be cool to have something like this in game. Although in saying that it'd be nice to have something a little different like glassblowing in game too as this has never been done before.
  • Wow, that's something! I get mildly stressed with my rotational saves (lol) and sometimes end up playing with just the one family for a while. That takes dedication though so I'm impressed. :)
  • In my rotational saves I'm playing with the Goth's and Jay Huntington III and one of my Sims that I made for the toddler challenge that came out a while back. They're all in different worlds; Henford-on-Begley, Willow Creek and San Myshuno. The Goth's are (obviously) in Willow Creek, however, my Cassandra Goth has just…
  • Deal breakers: Open worlds-The ability to travel without the loading screen. This has been somewhat irritating for me. Sometimes I just want my Sims to be able to travel quickly and because of the loading screen, they don't actually go out much because of this. Realistic looking Sims-Currently I use CC to give my Sims a…
  • It certainly was one of the best packs. :) Unfortunately it's been a long time since I've played on it and I don't even know if it would work on my laptop, sadly. The ability to record music and make music video's was one of my favourite aspects of it. That and the mud bath's which they've brought back with Spa Day. As to…
  • If this pack is to happen, then it'd be nice if they could include the ability to be able to record music and albums like they used to in TS1 Superstars pack and create music videos. I actually miss this and would like to see it back in the game again.
  • There's so many ideas that developers can take from people on these forums. It also makes me a bit sad that babies have been neglected in comparison to toddlers who can gain skills and generally have way more interactions. Like you said though, hopefully it changes sometime soon. :)
  • Haha, yes they should! There's plenty of interactions that they could include for babies. Changing mats when it comes to changing the baby, creating useable prams (take baby on a walk with pets for example), playable baby gyms, there's loads of ideas, I'm just not sure why they're not being included in the game. :/
  • Can we please bring back hotels/holiday villa's in a pack with this theme? It'd fit perfectly within a Greek themed world. :)
  • Yes to playable babies! Usually mine get aged up after 3 days because their interactions are too limited and frankly they become a bit boring. I also agree with more toddler toys-I give my toddler's as many as I can just so that they're not playing with the same things all the time.
  • Simsdom.com (You can find a lot of unusual but good CC on this site) and: sims4updates.net (They take links from other sites such as TSR as others have commented on here. Although it's still worth a visit as there's such a variety of stuff on there.)
  • Let's hope that this year will be the year that they listen to players who want these things. :) Usually if I have witches in my game; I try and make use of the Paranormal game pack too to try and make the witches seem a bit more "witchy" I suppose lol.
  • This is a great idea and would add more gameplay to occult Sims which I find to be lacking in The Sims 4. Personally I'm a lover of occult Sims but minus the odd witch in-game I don't actually have that many because of the fact that their interactions within worlds are pretty limited. :/ Hopefully this can be improved on.
