I'd like to enter please. Ironically I got "the middle child", despite being an only child. :) But I do often get myself into difficult situations and often make life harder for myself than it has to be! (And always been a little rebellious) :D Thanks for the giveaway. :)
It would be Seasons for me. It seems like such an important part of a base game. Whilst some of the other options would be good to have as well, without Seasons and some kind of change to the weather it does kind of feel a bit static.
I've got the app and for a while it was a bit buggy. Some days the game wouldn't play at all and EA said it was a fault through theirs rather than anything that was going on my end. The issue seems to have resolved itself now and the game has been running fine over the last couple of days. It'd be interesting to know if…
If the game is online multiplayer only. This will really put me off as the Sims is my escape when I don't want to interact with people. Also if there are too many expansion packs. I do feel that the Sims 4 is too large in terms of its expansion packs and mini packs (excluding the kits). I've been playing for a few years…
Would you mind saying which mods that you're using to get rid of these please? I'm having the same problems, and have been trying to solve the issue without mods for ages.
Yes. Things change and come and go, but since its been released the Sims has always been there. That is one thing that has stayed consistent throughout my life and so its become comforting and familiar in that sense. Things have changed a lot for me over the last few years after having gone through a rough time things are…
Mostly go with the flow and based on their personality. For example; if they're gaming (and they usually enjoy it/are a gamer) and the sign pops up saying "they don't like it", I'll ignore. Okay they may not like it in that moment but it seems silly to give it a dislike if they normally get enjoyment from it. The same with…
Yeah, a lot of my Sims seem to have that "fear of unwanted dreams" moodlet. To be honest I find it frustrating as previously happy and content Sims aren't despite me doing my best to give them these wants. It's not as though they're complicated wants, its usually stuff such as "listening to the stereo" or "view a piece of…
It mostly seems to be from not having their wants fulfilled even though I take the time to do this so that they're not stressed all the time. Each time I do this though it just seems to last for 10 minutes before they're stressed over not having them fulfilled again. :D My current Sim has just failed Uni because I spent…
Thanks for your reply. :) A lot of my University Sims are the quiet studious types that generally aren't that active. Even so I do try and get them out for a jog everyday! I'll keep in mind what you said about the brave trait and see if this makes a difference. :)
No, they just seem to have angry/tense moodlets all the time even when they don't have any personality traits that could trigger this (hot headed etc). They just seem to be perpetually sad as well if they don't have their wants met. I do try and spend time making sure that they get what they want whilst they're…
Sorry if this has been mentioned before (I don't have time to read through all of the threads now that college has started up again), but is there anything that they can do to fix the Sims emotions? It's getting beyond frustrating that they're always "very angry", "very tense", "very sad" when they have no reason to be…
Yes I've been feeling the same way. The reason I'm still playing is because I have some spare time before college starts up and I won't have as much time to play then. It has also become part of routine to play and its comforting sometimes as well. Still with saying that I actually haven't bought any of the new packs/kits…
Yes to this. The new changes to the base game I'm definitely not a fan of. Its getting to the point where if I see a new update, I automatically think "oh no..". It wasn't good when they introduced the bug (or whatever caused it) which caused Sims to automatically age up. Its also equally as irritating that Sims are dying…
There's been an update and I'm just about to switch the game on and see if its fixed this issue. The way I'm feeling at the moment it is putting me off playing the game. It feels like I'm wasting time fulfilling wants just to get the "Potion of Youth" to try and turn them back into Young Adults again!
Haha, sometimes even younger bodies can feel the same (early 30's and sometimes with my aches and pains I struggle getting up out of bed lol). Its having the right mindset that matters and is what carries you through. :)
Yes; I've just posted about this problem too. Totally confused by it as everything else seems to be working fine. I'm glad to know that other users are having issues too. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.
Hey everyone, Sorry if this has been posted before I've been travelling without internet access lately and haven't had the time to catch up on here since being back! Since the new updates I've noticed that my Sims (even with the long age span) are suddenly aging up too fast? The new updates seem to be great but this is…
Definitely not too old to be playing the Sims (or even being on the forum, I've found its very inclusive). :) That's amazing and just goes to show that this game has no real age limit where it becomes "too young" for someone to play.
Other than a few games that I play on my phone, yes the Sims is pretty much the only game that I play. It's perfect for escapism, its a comfort blanket at this rate, allows me to create my own world and characters where other players don't get involved. For that I'm grateful. Its something that I turn to when I've had…
Sims 1; please bring back Makin' Magic. Was so tempted to bring it back home with me after visiting my home town recently but wasn't sure if it would work on my laptop. :(
Really your post speaks out to me. 30 though is no different to being 20's (mentally and sometimes physically speaking) I pretty much could've written your post, although I can get away more (dressing and wearing what I want) because I'm short for (and don't look) my age. It is a pain but at the end I've learnt not to give…
