By default, if I start a new family, everything else I've put in the game is still there - I'm just playing a new/different family. I believe what he's asking is how do you start a new game without all that stuff. Or maybe I'm wrong.

The problem I had wasn't getting them off of being jealous but rather, once they became un-jealous, they would quickly get jealous again (as in they would overcome their jealousy, walk down the stairs, and were jealous again.

Personally, I feel that the way the Sims look in every iteration is pretty much what I would expect. Not that I think they're all good but I think they're all reflective of the time they were made. I like the gameplay of 3 better than 4 but if I didn't have the NRaas mods I'd be going nuts.

Thanks. I have many of the NRaas mods but, after 8 months, I'm having trouble remembering what I did back then. I use Adaptive V-Sync on my Nvidia card which (supposedly) kicks in if the framerate gets too high or low.

I don't think they are. In fact, I'm not sure that EA is very much proud of anything. If they are proud of anything I assume it would be their ability to makes tons of money selling the same sports titles year after year (despite ridiculous flaws in every iteration).

It is, IMO, but I also find it difficult to separate the game from all the EP's, Stuff Packs, NRaas mods, and whatnot that I've downloaded for it.

I wasn't aware Sims could have partial occult status. I always thought if a Witch married a Vampire (for example) the you had a 50/50 shot either way; I didn't realize it was possible to "blend". How does work for a Witch and a Fairy who both have a magical energy bar?

A lot of her careers don't actually mention patch 1.69 which is why I was curious. But I went ahead and downloaded them anyway and, for the few I've used, they seem to work fine.
