I play on the same settings as I had on my old desktop - not everything to max. The only difference is resolution. On desktop I had 1400x900, now I have 1600x900, but I expected more noticeable performance improvement between a 2009 computer with geforce 9800, 3GB ram, core duo e8400 and 2015 laptop with 850m, 8GB ram and…
My game is playable but annoyingly laggy as it would be played on an old computer. I've tried editing files, only to have [Found: 1, Matched: 1], but it didn't improved performance. I have switched V-sync on, and added the game to NVIDIA control panel to make sure it won't use the integrated graphics chip. Nothing helps.…
I guess these venues have to be LN venues not Showtime ones? I mean lot assignments. It should rather be for example "Local watering hole" than "Live show venue"?
Thanks I know how to build LN venues, I was just wondering if band career isn't tied to Bridgeport "Big City" assigment. In game lesson says something about bands getting gigs in Bridgeport venues. Maybe it's Bridgeport only profession.
Cyron. Maybe your chamber has a glitch. I was able to keep my sim for over a sim-week inside the chamber without any problems, then I've released him manually.
Not exactly. You activate suit outside the chamber. It allows sims to find collectibles, stabilizes their needs (but unlike quantum chamber it doesn't "freeze" them. It also allows sims to teleport using sort of "wormhole".
You can keep your sim inside for how long you want, theres no limit. He/she won't age and his/hers needs won't deplete. It works just like these cryogenic chambers from the sci-fi films or stories.
This was answered about 100 times. The future world (Oasis Landing) is a subhood like WA towns or University town. Your sims can go there only using a time portal that will appear on your active lot, or somwehere it town, shortly after you load saved, or start a new game. The time portal is also avilable to buy from the…
Yes I was reading about this glitch earlier, but I thought it was caused by mods or some CC. Before ITF I had 2 different saves in Isla Paradiso and never experienced problems with mermaids. All mermaids in my game are townies/NPCs meaning I have limited influence on them.
There is a mistake in the wiki. Emit is a special NPC that is crucial for ITF. He cannot become playable by any way (at least without mods or cheats) so this EP could work properly.
Well it is a chain, but it starts with Emit. As far I understood how these statues work. My sim replaces the original, for example plumbot builder with him/herself, then this sim can be replaced by another sim and so on (or not?), but still it has to start with a single sim. As for Emit's statue, this is a special case,…
Well no. My sim won't become the "real" time traveler. Emit is the one who built both the time machine and the almanac and he is probably the one who founded the Community Center. So player's sim won't exactly take his place but will become sort of his succesor.
Same situation with Polish version. The strange thing is that when I made my sim scan for insects standing next to a bunch of butterflies, there was only this red blank message.
I'm afraid that since they don't allow pets in Oasis Landing they simply disable pet adoption in OL, and it won't be possible to place family with pets in there or even Equestrian Center.
You mean each pylon has its own number and the "train" goes from let say "1" to "2" and once it passes "2" goes to "3", "4"...? I was wondering why EA made this so called monorail actually a hovering train. IMO it's not only because it looks cool and futuristic, but also to simplify building a track. Instead of placing…
This monorail reminds me slightly a horse running along training posts. A horse is programmed to go forward passing training posts. I think that monorail is programmed in a similar way. The biggest question is if we will be able to place monorail stations in pylons in Edit Town and CAW. But I doubt we'll know that before…
IMO it won't be like that. Look at resort employes. They don't fall asleep or die from starvation. At least in my game. I suppose EA will reuse for shops some concepts from resorts. But it also may mean that shops will be "self running" just like resorts are.
Well. Other sims won't see anything. This "train" works like a taxi. It spawns on one station, them it dissapears on another, carrying only player's sims.
Wasn't at least one of these screenshots taken during post live broadcast public game presentation? I suppose version of the EP used for public game presentation is the same (or newer) as the one shown in the last live broadcast. There is a monorail energy track in the trailer.
