The unflirty trait feels more aromantic than asexual since it not only applies to woohooing, but also romantic interactions in general. Thank you! This solved the problem of the missing roofs and doors, but I still get stuck in build mode whenever I place a shell and want to return to edit town. Whenever I want to leave build mode, I get the "loading" screen which is just stuck and it won't take me back to edit town. I guess I have to build those apartment…

I was really sure I once read about the delete inventory option as a fix, and the resetsim cheat as a way to get the phone back, but oh well. Fortunately I saved not too long ago, so i just quit the game without saving. Though this still doesn't explain why the inventory broke in the first place.

The gameplay seems hella boring. They literally filled a whole world with trash so the player can clean up after them...it's almost like an analogy of some sort. You probably have a 32-bit system which doesn't allow the game to run without the legacy edition, if I understood that correctly. Which means the only way to play the game without the legacy edition is to get a 64-bit system.
