@SheriSim57 I never used mods either, until now. This one is a huge issue for me, so this is my first exception. I have just had my first teen graduate since getting the pack. She was sent her graduation certificate early for some reason, but from what I have read that doesn't always happen. However, she was Valedictorian…
I am tired of skipping pack features because of problems. That really is something that has had to be done for years. We pay for these features. Sorry to sound so negative - I actually put up with a lot in silence, without mods. However I recently added up how much I have paid over the last 24 years. Involuntary life…
So mods are the only answer for something that shouldn't be beyond our control. Nothing changes after 24 years then. Thanks for answering, appreciated. (Edit) P.S. Sorry, maybe not the whole 24 years. Just very disappointed. It's a big thing for rotational players. I will try the mod.
I have enabled "aging up" only for the played household also. However, at the graduation ceremony, several Teens become Young Adults. The aging preferences make no difference. Various teens are aged up. This isn't a problem unique to me, various websites discussing the graduation ceremony mention it. My question is: Is…
Never mind, it seems the gallery is a little messed up at the moment. Rather than sorting the results, the "Sort By" feature is ONLY showing newest. Toggling the options makes more items visible. It seems I cannot delete my post, but perhaps this might help someone else anyway.
I know this is an old thread, but in case anyone else is having a similar problem, sometimes it helps to call the pet to the bathroom first THEN cue up the action to bath the dog.
@Rine It is ridiculous, I agree. Mourning, even for those they haven't met, is the priority for all Sims (no matter what their traits). I solve it by placing the urns in a sealed room (no doors). The ghosts can still come out because they can float through walls, but mourning is not an option anymore for living Sims. It is…
I thought the Royal Kingdom Challenge for TS4 was on the master-list, or perhaps it is on a different master-list. Could it please be added? http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/822224/royal-kingdom-challenge-by-enbliththefair-ts2-to-ts4/p1
Does anyone else think that "Try For Baby" results in a pregnancy 99.9% of the time? It certainly feels like it is a lot less random than in TS2. I think that, if the player chooses, you may flip a coin or roll dice when a couple has relations. Heads or evens = Try for Baby; tails or odds = Woohoo. No second flip or roll…
I know you usually suggest that, but I am an older player who is not confident to play around with the files. I feel a bit intimidated about it. Thanks for trying to help, though. I just hoped that reporting here it might let Maxis know there is an issue.
I don't use CC, nor any mods, and I have repaired the game many times since this started happening. Yes, the items are still in my library. They are now without titles and cannot be opened.
Thanks @IslingrShurtugal ! All of my lots are in my library (you can also find them by searching hashtag #RKC ). I have filled up every lot in Newcrest. My families are not there because there are too many and I am really more of a lot builder than a Sim creator. However I did make some households that are loosely based on…
Hello @IslingrShurtugal Remember that all the marriage rules only apply to the heir of each household. Basically all heirs can only marry women from the same class or higher, except Royals who can marry Royals or Nobles. You don't have to create additional Kingdoms unless you choose to. Everyone who is not an heir is…
Thank you @rosemow but no, it happens with every single Sim I play. I don't have any mods or CC. I have not had any welcome wagons nor have any of my Sims eaten fruitcake. I believe there is simply a problem with the eating animations.
Yes, thank you, you are right. The babies are causing the problem. I just trying moving the baby, and unfortunately I had to put it on the far side of the garden before the adult would bathe. This is certainly not ideal, but thank you for identifying the cause.
If your Sim is trying to spend time with one other Sim, the "goodbye" option is no good because it won't stop the other person from talking to them. I agree that there should be an option to ask the other person (nicely) to go elsewhere.
After transferring my kingdom from TS2 to TS4, I have now completed two rounds (edit: I meant two rounds in TS4, there were many previous rounds in TS2). I thought I might write something about how it is all going. The kingdom's third king, King William III, has just come of age and is engaged to a young noblewoman, Lady…
