  • Yes, exactly! I was also thinking of the Parenthood bulletin board, but for gameplay purposes it might make more sense if it were integrated into the UI, via the calendar, the sim profiles, or a new type of management screen. I also like your idea of teens rebelling against their schedule. Perhaps this could depend on the…
  • My plan is super simple.* Move my sims to the new world * Build them a new home * Give them a horse Seriously, that's it, lol. We'll see where it goes from there. :D
  • I like the new wood textures and there's some nice looking stuff in there. I'm a bit sad there isn't any dressage CAS, though. I get it's a western theme, but I would've liked a pair of equestrian boots and a set of riding clothes along with it.
  • I'm old-fashioned, I just want to play sims; Life by You looks more like a sims game to me than project Rene...so, we'll see. :)
  • I think they could do it if there's enough people making noise about it. If you asked a few years ago, most people would tell you pronouns were a pipe dream, but that happened. Not that it would be easy, or fast. They'd have to rework a lot of animations and with the game being so big, there's a good chance they'd miss a…
  • Spirals stairs are great, but I'd love to see curved stairs! But before any of those are added, we desperately need diagonal stairs first. On a side note, Get Together came with drainpipes.
  • I think the cat scratches are smaller, but they probably re-used some of the code, so I imagine the objects that can be scratched are the same.
  • This is my only real fear. Well, that and empty gameplay. For instance, if all the effort went to customization in CAS and then werewolves act just like regular sims that sometimes pee on the ground.
  • Definitely remember doing this aspiration when TS4 was brand new. I actually had fun with it and I think it made sense it was so time consuming. I mean, yeah, it gets kinda grindy, but it made being a painter more of a lifestyle rather than a quick check-box to tick off as you finish all aspirations quickly. My sim had to…
  • My first reaction was, "lol, furries!" :D But I can see why they chose this style to make it easier to animate. I don't like the feet and the hands, though, they're way too human. The lack of a tail is also a disappointment. :( Too bad they didn't add a proper wolf form. That would have been so awesome! It totally would…
  • For a kit this one's surprisingly nice. The swings are super cute and it's great to get some more stuff for kids in general.
  • I haven't actually tried weddings, but other events or just getting sims to do anything can be a challenge. My solution is to add sims to a group and then do stuff (eat, swim, dance, whatever) together. It works most of the time, so I imagine it could help out with weddings, also.
  • I bet they'll add body hair as a bg update, with a few additional options coming with the pack. B) I'm not sure if lunar cycles will be added to the base game, 50/50 on if they'll be pack exclusive. It would be cool, though.
  • Woah! Full moon + howling sounds, that's gotta be werewolves! Please be good!!
  • When you download the mod as a zip it's called something like: "TwistedMexi's TOOL v2.4.1 Official.zip". Inside that zip is a folder called "Tmex-TOOL". You need to drag that folder directly into your mods folder. It's similar with BBB. So, when you go to your mods folder you should see a folder called…
  • Here's a quick checklist of all the problems I could think of: Have you unzipped the download file? - For BBB you should have a folder called "Tmex-BetterBuildBuy" - For TOOL it's called "Tmex-TOOL" Have you dragged those folders directly into your mods folder? - It should be something like */Documents/Electronic Arts/The…
  • I like this idea, mermaids could work really well on Tartosa and if there are any lots close to the beach, I might build a few mermaid homes there, too. Other than that, I guess I'll just build the same kind of things I build in other worlds, keeping the local architecture in mind, so; houses, spa's, parks, etc. I'm just a…
  • That reminds me, someone made a 'class clown' aspiration for kids when the game just came out. It was all about causing mischief and flunking school, the reward trait gave a bonus to mischief skills if I recall correctly. I always wondered why something like that wasn't in the game from the start. I'd love to see more…
  • I think seven years is enough time to enjoy a game. DLC's are a nice extra, but they can't carry the game forever. I know there's still new players coming in and checking out TS4 and they've got a huge backlog to enjoy. But there comes a time where you've seen most of it and then it just gets repetitive. The animations for…
  • My biggest fear is that this is going to be the romance pack, just like parenthood has been the generations pack for so long now. Dating and romance are in need of a serious update and if the focus is going to be on weddings, I worry those things are going to be put on the back burner for a long, long time.
  • You and me both! :D But this made me wonder if rainbow poops make better fertilizer. I use the regular ones all the time, they're pretty good plant food.
  • I wasn't excited about Spa Day and that became one of my long time favorites, so, I'm trying to keep an open mind about this. At the same time, I'm really worried. The way events are handled right now is just not good. Sims just ignore whatever you've got queued up for them and other sims pay more attention to their phones…
  • I always try to fix something first in real life before I replace anything, and now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever had a sim replace anything, either. If it's broken, it stays broken until they fix it.
  • This thread gave me a chuckle. :) I'm the opposite of OP, I love all the poop jokes. As a dog owner, stepping on something is pretty unavoidable, so I thought it was a nice little touch. Like others have mentioned, though, there are ways to freeze need decay for pets and that'll stop them from pooping. @SuperCoolRachael…
  • I would have zero issues if at least some basic weather options like rain were made available for base game, but I don't think fixed seasons per world would be a good idea. They way you've proposed it, someone without DLC would only get to experience fall or summer. And maybe an unpopular opinion here, but I really don't…
  • As a fellow historical kdrama lover, I'm beyond stoked with this addition, as well! My only gripe -and that goes for all these small cultural additions- is that there are so few things to combine it with. I would love a Korean inspired world, and since there hasn't been a proper music expansion, yet, can we dream about a…
  • If they have so many people working on CAS and BB assets instead of gameplay, they've got their priorities wrong. Fact is, they're paying people to make these items, while they could be paying people to code and animate instead. So yeah, no matter how you look at it, CAS and BB kits are getting in the way of gameplay,…
  • Everybody's been saying kits don't interfere with development, but there's been no EP this winter, yet somehow EA tricked their fanbase into shelling out $40 anyway.
  • More lots. And something I wish it didn't have: that little shed behind the only 64x64 lot. :/
