From the people who voted for a pack devoted to laundry... We get a knitting pack. Watch your Sim sit! Wear sweaters! Talk about mittens! Upgrade your knitting needles! :s I'm not surprised, tbh. There is a large percentage of Simmers who love mundanity. The next community stuff pack will be dusting, or ironing. I kind of…
My first student went to Foxbury, stayed in the dorm, and earned a Distinguished Degree with Honors in Physics. I'm currently sending my Spellcaster to Britechester where he is working on a Distinguished Degree in Language and Literature, but he's living off campus in his home.
I got A+ for every course in every term, and only studied for one course in the first term and then never did it again. I didn't miss any classes, always did my homework, and did all of the term papers/presentations. My relevant skills were pretty high though.
I think anything crafted should always sell for a profit. Robotics is already annoying as is(huge component cost, constant electrocutions, time investment, sub-components). Making the finished product sell at a loss is unnecessary and does nothing to increase the "difficulty" - it just means that you level a skill to 10 in…
-Veterinarian -Pet training -Frog breeding -Mermaids -Island Spirits -Cupcake machine -Military career -Astronaut career -Owning a restaurant I'm sure there is plenty of other things as well. This thread is actually a great way I've figuring out new things to try
It definitely should be a GP. A Stuff Pack that just adds knitting and a bunch of hideous sweaters is going to be underwhelming. Haha I agree. It's such a cartoonish/naive view of the elderly.
I picked Happy Haunts as my first choice and Arts & Crafts as my second... The rest really don't interest me all that much, and even Arts & Crafts isn't super-exciting to me.
Because they eat garbage. Seriously. They bring the most high calorie stuff to the dorms, no wonder they are fat. Cookies, cakes, and lobster thermidor.
I turned 40 last week, and have been playing since the Sims 1 launched. I remember the EBGames employee telling me he couldn't believe people would want to play a game like the Sims. :D Back then I was all about making my own skins and such so there would be more options for customization, though now I let other more…
Thank you! I just assumed it would auto-promote me to the right branch when I selected Engineer. I never would've noticed they split it off as a separate one!
Carls' Sims 4 Guide has a page up now that shows you which skills help you qualify for each degree. It looks like 2-3 points is the minimum, with 4-6 and 8-10 each doubling your chance of qualifying. It looks like if you have 2-3 points in each of the skills that influence your degree you are basically guaranteed to get…
I'm voting for Happy Haunts. The careers sound fun, and I love paranormal stuff in the Sims. Sadly, I have a feeling the same people who wanted laundry will vote for knitting(watch your Sim sit for hours on end! unlock new socks!), so Arts & Crafts will probably win.
1. Ghost Hunters 2. Science & Astronomy 3. Arts & Crafts 4. Fun Tech 5. Self-Care Routines I love new careers, and I love paranormal themes in the Sims so Ghost Hunters is my #1 pick. Science & Astronomy is my second, because I love science and hate the giants telescopes and microscopes in TS4. Arts & Crafts is pretty cool…
Thanks for all of the responses! I did have MCCC installed at the time, so maybe it was one of the options in there. I've reverted my save for now to see if it happens again.
