So disappointing. Knitting a jumper instead of a seance. How adventurous. Like okay, Arts&Crafts, not my choice but could see some play in glass crafts or others, we get "old people stuff" that'll be in the unpurchased list next to Moschino. It's giving me PTSD from the day laundry was voted in. :D
I literally restart so much I don't think I've ever developed a Sim whatsoever. I managed to have a family once, like 2 years ago.. Then it was like, well, this was the wrong choice, *restart*. #woeisme
National Void Critter Day, sounds like a fun idea! Think there's more threads like this over in the Expansion Pack category but I suppose it works here too. I had not realised until recently that scheduled events weren't the same concept as scheduled holidays, so after work game nights should work really well. Personally…
I never try to make my kids personalities a certain way, play them as I feel they would be parented and how they would personally choose to behave in scenarios, chance cards, etc and see how they wind up. I've had some different results. Maybe your kids are just sociopaths? :#
I've honestly never had an issue with dine out, besides finding it a little miffing how long it takes to have a three-course, I've never had any issues with seating/serving/staff/customers. Maybe by luck I missed bug-time.
I don't like editing genetics either, but considering this is Sims at least I don't have to feel bad about Silicon Valley'ing my kids faces if they look like a bag of spanners.
I'm going to be playing a single Sim (with a cat) starting a new save when the EP is released. Not starting beforehand as I want to see all the new CAS options and make tweaks on the Sim that's ready now. She's going to be a journalist or a screenplay writer I think, though I'll be leaving a lot of leeway for any of new…
Well, if you want a good upgrade, an EP with 3D weather, it's going to be taxing. It's possibly even going to require different specs.. Is this really a surprise?
Of course, love collections. I find this one to be one of the hardest though.. I get so many repeats. I try to pick a few different collections that suit the hobbies/interests of each sim I play in my save. Eventually I will tick them all off! :#
I don't think there are any rules or guidelines. Certainly helpful methods/tips/timekeeping tricks though, which is what this thread is all about. :) People play rotational in different ways, it's nice to be able to try them out to get a feel of what ideas work for me and others as single household players, challenge…
I haven't played any clubs in a while, I love the feature though. Last one I played was a basketball club in San Myshuno. They'd go out to the court (next to club leader's home) and play some. (A great way to get the trophy eventually, they played so many games!) Then I'd usually take them out for a cheap meal in the city,…
Why is the calendar being labelled as the main feature of this pack? It's a big detailed feature by the looks of it, sure, and a lot of us are really looking forward to using it for our stories. It will be an incredible tool for imaginative players. That said it seems some people have forgotten that the main feature of…
@MissNightOwl I agree. I like the fact that our stuff can get stolen but it would be nice to have it actually properly integrated. that said I also like @IceyJ 's outlook, I might casually stumble across something missing and shake my fist at the sky wondering who has my shopfront potted plant in their living room, and I…
It's not 'just counting down the days until bunnyfest', but why the heck not either? Bunnies are great too. It's features like being able to prepare for your Sim's wedding and being able to make the important decision of when instead of on the spot teleporting and spinning into a wedding gown at 5am without a cake because…
..But real stores really do get nicked from, you know? Every business has it's monthly profit losses too. Stock and otherwise. I worked in a record shop about a year ago and we spent a month investigating who was stealing our street signs continuously because we had no CCTV. Good thing we laugh in the face of challenge. Or…
Clothing. I build all of my Sims from scratch and I can spend hours in CAS tweaking the smallest of details, I don't like Sims that bare any resemblance to preset features, and from finetuning this much over the years I rarely struggle with creating faces in CAS with a few hours to do so - However fashion is another thing…
Some nice infos today. <3 Calendar is going to be horrendously useful.. So much that I can't even muster the willpower to turn my game on without it now.
Don't use mods/cc at all anymore but.. Alpha was something I thought was awesome when I was playing TS2 around age 14 or something, as an adult my opinion has changed dramatically.
She's very pretty, and her colour scheme is great but.. That everyday outfit is not really to my tastes. Do people really go out dressed like that? I thought it was like.. Burlesque dancing clothes, lingerie or sexy swimwear. And I'd roast if I did exercise in those sweats.
