I did a simple renovation of the Screaming Gecko lounge in Tomarang so it can fit on the 20x15 lot in the downtown neighbourhood of Morensong. Yes the laggy build mode (particularly when using wall swatches) is a current glitch on specifically the "residential rental" lot types. Ooooo! That's a great upgrade for the robo-vacuums. It will save your sims from spending all their time running around cleaning mold. Or maybe it will only clean the not-so-deadly mold, while the deadly mold might have to be cleaned by a sim with the mold bomb? Either way, two thumbs up for adding that functionality, devs!

I'm also going to bulldoze that single dwelling house in the downtown area and relocate the Screaming Gecko lounge to that spot instead. That might help to attract more sims and maybe add a bit more nightlife to the market/downtown area?

What bothers me the most about that park is the bushes along the sidewalks, they're blocking/cutting off the view and will force sims to have to go around them if they want to use any of the items in each section (bench, bbq, whatever). They just seem to block the 'flow' of the area around the park and make no sense to me…

I'm glad the swimming areas are huge so we can at least use the various watercraft from Sulani. I don't want to lose any sims in a drowning incident just to get to the cave island.

Super happy about the stair railings fix, functional vampire radiators, functional shoe racks, and giving us the ability to change San Myshuno apartment windows. :smiley: I hope they continue to add functionality to a bunch of older items in the game....

@LeucosiaX That's okay, I'm not heartbroken over it or anything and I do know how to recover a previous save (been there done that too many times than I care to count :D). Yay for sharing! I love your build too and will be grabbing it from your gallery when it becomes available. The build style is perfect for that lot.... just enough grunge to give it a true industrial/factory waterfront city feel. Two thumbs up!

Interesting.... so Skye Fitness is technically a "ground" lot even though it's sitting up high? If true, then that's awesome. That means we can still at least build one apartment 'skyscraper' in San Myshuno that will give us all the awesome skyhigh city views. Yay!

But it's not just a normal lot. It's a lot that sits on top of a skyscraper shell building, which is all a 'penthouse' is too. Penthouses are just residential lots and can be changed to any type of lot with no restrictions (until now). The Skye Fitness lot works the same way, there are no restrictions on what type you lot…
