I did a check on the minimum requirements for the game and your graphics card dose meet them, I will look into this some more and get back to you. Also, is your graphics driver up-to-date? I would recommend going to geforce.com to check if your driver is up-to-date.

The game was originally getting an error when I opened the launcher so I contacted tech support and they had me run the game in compatibility mode but it crashed so I reinstalled the base game and skipped update 1.57.

I uninstalled the base game and am running CCleaner but I just have a quick question, should I run the Cleaner and the Registry tool in CCleaner or just the Registry tool?

I installed the Super Patch but the game launcher still isn't working and it keeps telling me to see the Log for details but I have no idea where the Log is.

Ohhhh yeah I forgot about that super patch, other than that one the game updated when I installed each expansion pack and I know Origin is up-to-date because I just installed it on my new computer a few days ago.

You don't need to be at University to have roommates, it's a feature available for all households. If you want to disable it click your Sims cell phone and choose Roommates then there should be a setting to disable roommates.

I may have a solution, there are files that the game uses called Cache files and over time these files get larger and larger so this could be the cause of your problem. I recommend deleting all the cache files(also known as "Clearing the game Cache") and this may help. These file are located in My Documents\Electronic…

I'm not sure what it is you're asking, are your asking if that your motherboard will support that type of memory? I have to agree with ceejay402 you probably are going to need a better graphics card, I can do some looking around and give you a recommendation on a graphics card, :-) if that's okay with you. If it is then just give me a price range and preferred brand.

What is the specific error, dose it give you an error number?

I believe that one of the problems could be that you have too much custom content but could also be game cache files. Deleting these files can significantly improve game speed and performance. I would highly recommend doing this pretty often to prevent these kind of problems. If you don't know how to clear the cache files…

I've been having problems with my game too, for some reason it freezes and then minimizes and Windows says "The Sims 3 has stopped working and needs to close" but it only dose this when I go into CAS with my teen sim, so I was just wondering if clearing the game cache would solve this problem.
