    Game Won't Start

    Hi there, I just finished installing The Sims 3 and several expansion packs on my new computer but whenever I try to open the game launcher it says that it failed to start and to see the log for details so now I can't play, please help.

      hey AdamGamerSim14

      did you test btwn each installation? is origin up to date? have you patched - use manual super patch -

      did you remove leftover files from uninstalling

      also drag your sims 3 doc folder to the desktop and test

      Ohhhh yeah I forgot about that super patch, other than that one the game updated when I installed each expansion pack and I know Origin is up-to-date because I just installed it on my new computer a few days ago.

      Okay I'm in the process of downloading the super patch, it should finish downloading in about an hour. I'll get back to you if it worked or not.

      I installed the Super Patch but the game launcher still isn't working and it keeps telling me to see the Log for details but I have no idea where the Log is.

      This does not help because I just installed the game so I don't have a DCcahe file yet.

      I uninstalled the base game and am running CCleaner but I just have a quick question, should I run the Cleaner and the Registry tool in CCleaner or just the Registry tool?
