How can I get rid of this baby bottle?

«1
I noticed a babybottle on the ground in my legacyhouse. None of my sims can interact with it, not even the toddler. I can't put it in any inventory (personal or family) and I can't sell or delete it (not even with move objects on). How can I get rid of it?

Can you use the moveobjects on cheat to get rid of it?

Have you tried moving it somewhere else? To another room or outside? How about restarting the game? Or both. Do you have a maid.... maybe a maid would pick it up. Stupid baby bottle :?

I'd just move it somewhere you can't see it :/

    Nope.
I also can't place it on a table or counter (with or without "moveobjects on") and delete the table/counter afterwards.

You can't click on it. It's just there.

I might have a solution. Use the reset sim cheat for whichever sim was using the bottle. Then try to use the move objects cheat to delete it.

I have restarted the game. That didn't help. I have a maid. Maybe I should wait and see what she does with the bottle.

    Not even with moveobjects on?

Place a piece of furniture on top of it with moveobjects on? Better yet, place the fishbowl on top of it and call it art.

I'm having the same problem with some old homework for my 2nd Generation Heir. For whatever reason he didn't turn in his homework and then, when he aged up, he still had the last days homework in his inventory. So now I'm stuck with two homework note books that I can't delete or throw away.

Annoying, but at least it has no impact on anything. I can stick them in his inventory but I've just left them out by the trash can for now.

I was assuming it would have been one of the toddlers... I don't suppose you can reset them all? It wouldn't harm anything. lol

You can sell them. For no money, but at least it's gone. XD

    8.

But I was thinking about deleting my cache-file (or something). You know, the file you delete when installing default replacement skins or eyes. It "refreches" your sims. Would that be a good idea?

Have you tried deleting the floor it's on? (Ideally, foundation but I don't know where it is in the house!)

You could try it-- I don't know which one is relevant to that, but the good thing with cache files is that is doesn't really matter! :)

How can you have 8 babies or toddlers... there has to be an adult on the lot.

The person who suggested resetting the Sim who was using the bottle meant to reset the child who was drinking from it. Just reset all babies/toddlers. Or everyone on the lot for that matter. Can't hurt.
