I’m attempting to get caught up on the chapters. In the game Grace and Will have already had their fifth child, and I haven’t even written the chapter about their wedding yet.
I’m hoping to get caught up before my copy of Showtime arrives, which considering I probably won’t get it until Monday, might be possible.

I have the same problem I am much further in the game than I am in the actual story.
Don't worry about it. The whole point is to have fun with a family.

Update on the status of the blog:
College is kickin’ my butt so I will not have anything up before the end of the semester.
I hope that by the beginning of June I will have more chapters up and I should post regularly during the summer.

I have two tiny questions though:
Where did you get kevs ears? I downloaded him from the exchange and was sad to find that the ears didn't came with it, same goes for clare and her hair. Could you PM me some links?
Also are there any restrictions on cheatcodes or mods? I'm currently using a storyprogression and career/schoolmod by Nraas, I don't think this gives me an advantage but i'm not sure, so I thought i'd better ask.
As far as using cheats/mods my opinion is: its your game play however you enjoy it most. That is one reason I came up with my own challenge because I didn’t like the limitations.
I use a mod to let me jump from household to household to check on all the grown up kids and tell their stories too.
As long as you follow the basic rule: Only two parents with ten children per generation, everything else is up to you.
I absoulutly love this legacy challenge and im trying my hardest to make one of my own. I have tried before but my entire game got erased and i have had trouble setting up a new legacy. I hope to have a new legacy started soon. I also can't wait to see the next generation of o'connors!
@megan106 That stinks that your game got erased. Don’t get discouraged, several times my game crashed and I had not saved and lost about a week of sim time. The really bad part is the Grace had just had her first baby! When I played it again the baby looked different and once again the game crashed and I lost the birth again. Finally I got the baby and did save. So when you meet the first child of the second generation he/she is the third version of that kid. Poor thing.
@irishuntjens Your rule changes are fine. My opinion has always been “its your game, play the way you want.” My only issue is how are same sex couples going to have children that are genetically theirs? I mean they could have a baby with another sim (surrogate) or they could adopt but the legacy would not be a gene legacy then. But, like I said, the whole point is to enjoy your game and so have fun.
Anyway, I’m really honored someone likes this idea to even want to tweak the rules to fit their style. I didn’t think people would even read it much less copy it.
Update, I am working on the next chapter and hope to have it up tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I know it has been a long time since a new chapter so I will try not to make you wait much longer.
