When I first saw "small motel" in the list of lots for this neighborhood, I said wow, that will be fun. And it was fun, but it's just so small (the lot) and I didn't want to cram it full with things. So I looked on the net for designs and found one. I only have 4 motel rooms, but it had to be SMALL. I hope it 1960's enough, because it's hard to do if you didn't lived in that time. But I think it worked out. I don't know that they had rock gardens in that time, but I think it fits the build. I hope everyone enjoys this one!
Oh, and for some reason the exchange shows my furniture! It must think that the rooms are ouside because normally all furniture that is shown is outside. Real funny!
I'm having uploading issues again. My husband has been on the computer for 2 days and found 6 viruses, nothing that touches anything except web. I can't tell you how much faster my connection is now. They are all gone, however, I may have to tone down my Draft Office and I really love it like it is.
i was using the moveobject on cheat while tweaking some stuff on the house. i had forgotten that this test family had a baby. everyone was walking on their own to go to sleep and the dad kept waking up. i did a quick tweak of the wall and made the parents room bigger and i just snatched the crib and moved it. the baby fell out on the floor LOL so i just grabbed the baby and placed them in the room. the baby slept fine. so, i just saved the house and went to sleep myself
lol i love all of them. this has got to be the best ever i absolutly love our neighborhoods.ok so heres mine i had to work and fight to get this one uploaded. also told my fiance i was going to throw his lap top if he didnt get it off my internet. lol poor guy.

KitKat and Daenellia thanks for the patterns.
oh and if you want the lot it is http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=755306 just house
Mind you, this is still a library! The touches of flower power patterns (made by me) were a mad idea by the former librarian, who has now been sacked. The board felt it would be more appropriate to spend the budget on books.
(I have hidden the computers away from view, but they are still there...)
Here's the Calder family enjoying a relaxing time at their pool. It's an "aquarium pool" so folks down in the rumpus room can feel like they're in the water, too. (Thanks to aphexZero for the tutorial http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=346732) Thanks wyuhaee for the water family And soooo sorry, but I realized this morning that in all my wrestling with the launcher last night to get the lot loaded, I neglected to credit you in the final upload Please accept my apologies for that.
And an interior shot of the living room looking into the den.
Thanks to addieo for the basement garage tutorial- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uyjmc2ke9bc
And thanks to Daenelia for the custom tie-dye and horizontal stripes patterns!
@JOKERA_US: you can copy the file to any other site or mail it to one of us. When you clicked the butten "share" in the game, the file will be in "My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Exports/Uploaded. So then we'll have to lot!

Do you have msn or something from microsoft? Then you'll have a live id. Most people don't know this, but if you have a live id, you'll have a skydrive! You can put files on this skydrive up to 25Gb! And you can link to these files! just go to www.windowslive.com and log in, from there you'll find it.
