Wow! Lots of entires so far! Cant wait. Fid, you might want to pout in thread title the due date on the contest. I worry people may have gotten used to that last 2 month deadline so we need to make sure they understand this one is just one month.

That might be true and I'll do that but don't forget; last challenge was very slow and not many entries.

    Everyone,

I'm instituting a new rule. This is to keep me from having to go and search everyone's studio to find out if they have been featured for a house, thus disqualifying them from the Amateur category. It's easier than constantly having to ask entrants if they want in the Pro or Amateur category.

14.New Rule - All entrants should give the category they're entering when signing up. Otherwise, for now on they will automatically be entered into the Pro category.

Of course, this also means those who are entering the pro category, will not have to tell me which one they're entering. I've been assuming that most of you I don't know or know that well, that you who have not told me what category you're entering, is going to want in the Amateur category. No more; as everyone can enter the pro category, I will for now on assume you wish to compete in the Pro category.

That's okay, it's just easier this way. I can always change it if someone realizes they made a mistake.

    Fid:

Just a thought, but instead of saying "1 month challenge" in the title, how about putting in the due date? That way, anyone glancing at the thread will know when it's due :)

Not a bad idea; I'll do that.

    Thanks garbuckle!

Also, I finally just got all the judges scores in and I'll be trying to finish up tomorrow with the results.

MeestorMark is also going to be guest judging on this challenge.

Welcome MeestorMark to the Judge's Panel.

This sounds like a fun challenge! I take it though by "new" you mean it has to be built with this competition in mind? So I can't enter a house that I just uploaded last week?

Sorry MooMonkey, but no; any houses already uploaded can not be entered.

Let me know you'd still like to enter.

I'd still like to enter. I can probably build a house in that time.

But, what's your definition of a "country cottage"? Is it anything like my definition that I uploaded just under a week ago, or is it completely different?

    MooMonkey,

I don't think you have to build to my expectations of what a country cottage looks like. I will tell you what I think a country cottage is about though.

It's a smaller size home being it is called a cottage. It's a traditionally built home, not a modern. Country also depicts homely maybe; very laid back maybe. These are just some of things I see in a general sense. I still think everyone will have a completely different idea of a Country Cottage, based on their experience. That's what's so fun.

So build to what you picture in your own mind to what you think is a Country Cottage.

I'm going ahead and put you down as ProEntrant 7.

    Good Luck!

Well, aren't you a judge? The judge is always right in their opinion cause they're the judge.

I already have a good picture in my mind of what I'm going to do. And is there a chance the next challenge is going to be for modern homes? I have a good picture in my mind for one of those, too.
