I'm still rooting for a magic one myself *hides at the dirty looks.* :P I miss magic from sims1 a lot, and Apartment Life just didn't do it justice at all. The whole atmosphere of sims1 was different with the carnival rides and games, to the spell ingredients and building options.
Wow i totally agree with you on this. I am disappointed that there is no apartment living. The interaction in the apartment life ep was great, it would have worked perfectly here. I do miss pets also, i have a cat for real and when i would play sims2 i would always incorporate my cat as a sim cat.

I just read another post and remembered Sims 1... SUPERSTAR. I know you can be a rockstar in Sims 3, but you can't be an actor and it doesn't have the amazing sets like Sims 1 did. That EP was my FAVORITE.

I would really love for there to be an expansion based purely on babies, toddlers and children sims. So for example, it would bring ALOT more interactions to do with children, it would include prams and playpens and maybe even a pre-school for toddler sims to go to when their parents are working (instead of being at the mercy of lazy babysitters! :roll: ) Children could have pyjama parties with all their school friends, and the pack would include LOTS of new fun objects.
My second choice would be a Nightlife-ish expansion. I so miss nightclubs and clumsy waiters and nice presents for good dates

I'd like to see a bon voyage type of ep which would include having an airport in sunset valley, you could see the plane take off and bring you to your destination. This could also throw in some weather. It would snow if you choose to go to a ski resort or be raining somewhere warm. my second would be a makein magic like one where it would include vampires, goblins, fairies, mermaids, wizards and maybe even a wizard school, or maybe a holiday one or a one that keeps track of what the month is like Halloween the town could get all dressed up with pumpkins and for the winter seasons people could hang lights and you could be able to give gifts, one more idea would be a water park/theme park type expansion which allow us to build rides and bring our sims to enjoy the day sliding down waterslides splashing in a wave pool or riding the biggest roller coaster in town.
8)I know this is going back to Sims1 but I loved Superstar!!! I could see how the Sims3 and Sims1 Superstar could work out. Otherwise I just assume, and I've heard some rumors, that Pets will be an EP and Nightlife.... Just keep 'em coming I cant get enough!
I agree that those would be really good to re-create, but if they redo pets, they have to make it cool. TS2 pets was boring and strays would come in and destroy everything.

There probably won't be a childhood themed pack, unless EA decides to go with a whole bunch of smaller ones instead of a few larger expansion packs. Otherwise, childhood objects would fit nicely into a university expansion pack.
I have a few more items to add to that list.
1) a rocking chair- A parent standing always to tend to the baby infront of the crib isn't realistic to me. It would be cute to see a mother rocking a baby, or a granny in a rocking chair.
2) a toy store- That toy box only has 4 toys in it. Yet it has the inventory functions like the fridge does. Or have a workshop/hobby table where a parent can make a child more homemade toys.
3) Perhaps todlers can have another "skill" they'd need to learn, social skills. They'd get it by interacting with other todlers, and even other adults.
And the "skills" a todler has learned, or the progress he/she has made on those skills, should be listed on the skills tab just like adults.
4)kids can have grades for different classes, like math, reading, ect.
Reading skills would be obtained by reading any books, math by homework, ect.
I'd actually really like a science fiction based expansion pack. Aliens, space, and all of those cool things. if I really elaborated, I could probably go on for days, but I'd really like to see some sci-fi elements come back and be further expanded on, especially since they're missing from the base this time.
After a sci-fi pack? Something to open up the rabbit holes. It's probably be Nightlife-esque. Seasons would be cool to have back too.
i was thinking the first ep should be something like seasons then they should add something like holidays like halloween and other holidays since you can walk around the neighborhood and take your kids trick or treating and celebrating that stuff and the kids can eat the candy later and having an easter egg hunt around the town that would be awesome but thats my opinion.

I would like to see some sort of compatibility system between Sims, like in Nightlife. It seems like Sims just choose other Sims as mate without any rhyme or reason. Finding a really compatible partner could result in a very positive moodlet. On the flipside, being in the presence of a not-so-compatible partner could have a negative moodlet effect.
I would like magic but i hope it is simplified so i dont have to go out and find all those ingrediant like in makin magic. i kind of like the way they did it in

I'm not sure if i like seasons that much, i mean when it first came out it was cool but after a while the lag with the rain and snow became annoying, but thats just my opinion.
I would love to see a SP filled with baby and toddler stuff, because i don't think there's a lot of focus on them.
I want Makin' Magic because the computer I played the first Sims game on was so slow that, by the time they got to Makin' Magic, I could barely play the game without ten and twenty minute long loading screens.

I miss that too. As in I miss being able to make my Sim smove into an empty lot and having them there while I start from scratch

Also in Seasons (or the magic one) they should add more things that were in The Sims 2...
