Still catching up. I'm about halfway through Book Two now. This story just keeps getting better and better. I love all the messed-up and messy characters and the very tangled plots. Sorry I haven't been leaving comments on the individual chapters. I tend not to when I'm binging a whole series at once. But I am seriously hooked on this story.
@GlacierSnow
Hey, welcome back. Glad you're enjoying the doom and gloom.
As fun as it is to get comments, I really don't mind you not commenting as you go. It's been so long since I wrote the earlier books that I've forgotten a lot of the details, so I have to read the chapter back to understand what the reader is on about. And then I cringe for an hour because I notice all of my typos or wonder what I was I thinking with some choices (looking at you, Nightfall). And then I get this burning desire to EDIT EVERYTHING.
So, yeah. Sporadic 'hey, I like this thing you're doing' comments are totally fine by me.
Also for everyone who's up to date, yes I realise it's been ages since I put a chapter out. You'll get one tomorrow. It contains fire.

That's because you're reading the Author's Version. Everyone else is reading the Audience's Version, and it's way better.
I really do like this thing you're doing. It is, from my point of view here in the audience, extremely well done, and exciting to read. I love it when the "good" and "bad" of characters gets very complicated. Plus, I like your sense of humor. The TV news panels have been really cracking me up.
You've probably noticed I've been away for a while. Or maybe you haven't. Either way, I'm back from the hole and writing up a storm. It's feeling gooooood. Better than good; positively terrible.
For all those Seth fans, I know it's been a painfully long while. He's back in 4.15. But to tide you over, here is the next part of the story that so many of you are still not quite sick of, miraculously, with a teeny peek.
I'm woefully behind on all my simlit reading, but very much looking forward to catching up on everyone else's messy plots and complicated characters now that I've emptied my head of my own. I even have a holiday booked in a couple of weeks for no reason other than to binge read. Prepare for comment deluge.
Can you imagine being as excited as April is about everything? Must be exhausting.
I do wonder sometimes if they ever regret donating their simselves to my universe. I have backup GliTS members, Martin, Poxy and Yoblo on standby, just in case they ever do.
😅 I couldn't be bothered to re-shoot the scene. At least that placeholder sim looked relatively human. Now I just have to remember for future reference that Morag has a nosey, beige room-mate. Ah, placeholder 4, why couldn't you just stay in the bathroom?!😆
Yep, he's out in the sun, although perhaps not completely comfortable, we'll soon see.
I... uh... planned to say something more intelligent at this point, but I am running on a week of no more than four hours of sleep per night, so I've got nothing. Just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed this story, and I'm eager to see what happens next.

Chapter 4.10 - Undo Button
Chapter 4.11 - Chasing Ghosts
Chapter 4.12 - Holy Potato!
And I survived. But somehow I suspect your promise that it gets "better" in Book Three is a lie.
You are a fantastic writer. I am completely hooked on these messed-up characters and all their messed-up stories.

Still, better late than never, yes?
