so far, I'm not having any issues with my mod but yet very disappointed with EA team with the sims 4 with the infant update so far. I been being patient yet saving and exiting my game to see any updates needed at that point and been repairing my game. Yet nothing seems to work I been doing my infant been taken off from me DUE to the game won't let me feed him, change his dippier or even bathe him. Every time I try it cancelled the gameplay I am trying do with my infant and she wants to do her needs or ignore her child at one point its cancelled it and change it to check infant then nothing else with the infant. I`M UPSET and not happy and hope yawl can give me ADIVCE or even fix the problem or keep me update. And let me know when the problem is fixed because at this point I about not to play the game until this is solved with the update DUE to fact, I can't even age up the infant to toddler due to the frustration it caused.
Anyone having problems with mods, or, not ready to update, I figured out the secret. The easy way to update, without hassle, is being patient, and having CurseForge, it's even better and faster to do this. If you don't have it yet, get it. Then, once you do let it run and scan all your mods, don't let it update them, just yet. First make a new folder put it somewhere easy to locate like your desktop, and rename it, like 'mod test' then cut and paste all your mods and put it in the mod test folder. Won't hurt to do a Sims 4 repair, too. Backup, then update. Now, just sit back, relax, and be patient. Play or make a new save, or play an old one, or do whatever to pass the time. Keep CurseForge up, let it now update your taken out mods with the updated and working ones, and refresh every so often, and guess what, any updates will pop up and get downloaded and get put into your clean mods folder. Saves your hands and fingers, no need to bother to hunt for and remove the old ones. I had my doubts and suspicions at first, but CurseForge won me over.

"Cleared by Creator" means that the update did not break the previous Mod release, and no update was necessary. Which means, if you already have that Mod in your game, it doesn't need an update.
Wow.. wonderful work, @Lumpinou ! My only problem is I'm finding mods I didn't know I needed till now.. LOL!
This is why I have a 70GB mod folder sitting on my desktop waiting for updates.

Oh, I know. I like to overcomplicate my life. I also toss a copy of my mods and saves folders onto an external drive just for redundancy because of that one time I nearly lost a 25+ generation save when my Sims 4 folder got overwritten. I delete files from the desktop folder after I place the updated one in the new mod folder.
*I was nearing the 150+GB range myself, but I delete my entire mods folder every few months and rebuild it. Keeps it under control... sort of.
