I find I need to pause a lot more often when playing just to choose an interaction. There are so many of them! I wish the MWS interactions would appear appropriately. My married couple always has them asking others to be in the wedding when having conversations even though they are already married. I know you can renew vows, which I like, but it would be better if there was an interaction where the couple can decide to renew vows that triggers the other interactions. Or maybe have all the interactions for weddings under it's own heading. So many interactions really clutter up the interactions.
@MoonlightGraham Have your Sim try it again. Once, Erik sounded absolutely horrid and he's level 10 in Sims 4 singing Skill, to say nothing of the fact he's level 5 on the Professional level with the Road to Fame mod. I was totally freaking out. He was home, trying to get ready for the Karaoke contest that early evening. When he sang, 'for real' at the contest, he was his old splendid self.

I hear you, there. I like the idea of having all the marriage interaction grouped unto themselves. Yes, there is so much clutter, it's hard to find what I'm looking for at times. With dates at a restaurant, in particular, one of the goals is to have deep conversations (2). I find myself having to count how many clicks on the Friendly options to find the deep conversations. I've also discovered that deep personal conversations doesn't fulfill this goal. I also agree with you that the already married couple should have to decide on the vow renewal to trigger the interactions. It's crazy to have to filter through interactions that aren't even appropriate after the wedding.
I switch households every Sunday, but it actually ends up being Monday morning since they get out of the Starlight Accolades after midnight...and I leave them standing there, just save as soon as I load in and move on.
For those who want their social menus to make sense, Bienchen has a great mod for that - conversation tweaks I believe. I have all of hers, so it can get confusing as to which does what, but there is definitely a mod in there that puts things in their own categories and makes the social menu make sense.
Lately i've felt like one of my sims.
I don't know what to eat or nothing sounds yummy (its pretty much just me eating 90% of the time), so I just make myself grilled cheese, which is what I make my sims eat most of the time
I am trying to think of the careers that are not really careers and have their own system. I have vet, retail store, wellness therapist and restaurant owner. Is there anything else?
Is the social media stuff substantial? I don’t mean the career but using the production station and things. You can make money this way?
Had no idea the fame system was so detailed. Keeping yy Carl's guide open as I play.
I had the Road To Fame mod installed but took that out this morning. It was getting a bit confusing trying to figure out what was included in the original fame system and what was part of Road To Fame. It's a pretty fun mod though so I'll reinstall it once Juliette reaches level 5 fame.

I am really impressed with EA for this EP. I appreciate it so much more than the one in Sims3. Yes, it is detailed, but you'll get the hang of it faster than you know.
When you reinstall RTF, make certain you enable both the GF system and the RTF systems, they were designed to work together. Also, you may wish to make Simstagram updating auto- through RTF. Use the Options from the mod.
@GalacticGal Thanks for the advice! My Sim's tone-deaf performance actually happened in public, at the karaoke bar. I was trying to get him to the mic to enter the karaoke contest, but he didn't make it. His chances of winning wouldn't have been good, even if he delivered the performance of his life--a Sim who's a Level 9 singer nailed her song and scored 94/100.
Earlier that day, he'd entered the Hack-a-thon at GeekCon, simply because his niece invited him. With no Programming skill at all, he scored 16/100...and won the contest and the computer that goes with it. Why? Because they're Sims.

I believe so? I'm not sure I havent really played with it, i've watch some youtubers plays and I think they make a lil money from it?

Yeah it’s bizarre, I did those exact two things and my decent programmer scored 60 or so and didn’t win, but won karaoke with 20/100. I guess it’s random
What's with all the random sims entering my home without permission?
My current family live in Mount Komorebi, first evening they had Marcus whats-his-face come in and sit on their sofa, the next evening it was the older Caliente woman. Neither had a relationship with anyone in the house. My sims door is set to disallow solicitors and neighbours (not that these were either) - JUST GET OUTTA MY HOUSE!!! So irritating.
As in real life competitions, a lot depends on who else showed up that day, or didn't show up that day
Yes, it does! Erik's mother (non-active) showed up and she won, in another iteration. Erik didn't win anything that night. Also, he accompanied his father, who wrote a book about raising a Rock Star, and he won, too. This was back before I knew what I know now. Erik's been on a winning streak since I was given some very good tips.

Haha yes she sounded so awful too, couldn’t be higher than level 3 but she won 😂

There is also a list of links to other threads on what may or may not be the same bug, in post #3 on that thread
Are you in the starter home in the Wakaba neighborhood? Just north of the Itos? I had this bug while playing in that house.

Thank you so much for your reply and link, I will head over to the bug thread.
This house is in the Senbamachi neighbourhood, 6-4-1 Hanamigawa. It's the Lot just south of the little park.
