No invites to teen parties with HSY

ETA: I have fast forwarded through over 2 weeks of live mode as a test and STILL my teens are not getting invites to parties (even with NO mods or CC installed). I don't know what can be wrong. Is anyone else having this problem?

Sorry for the 5 billion questions about HSY.

For the live fast aspiration, your teen has to sneak out for a party. But to do that, they need to be invited to a party. I've been playing for quite a while and none of my teens have been invited to a party. Is there anything I can do to make this more likely to happen?

I have been invited to a party once and asked for permission which I got, but I didn‘t habe an option to go.

Maybe you should wait until Prom. I know my Sims got invited to a pre-Prom party. Unless that doesn't count.

My sim has been in ited twice to places seems like it always happens around Friday to the weekend for me

@alexspoom13 @aktex @GalacticGal @LadyKyn do you have MCCC? I know it was blocking the prom event from occurring so I am wondering if it is blocking party invites for me (yes I have updated it).

I have MCCC yep! Hasn't blocked any of the invites at all for me. Only thing I had a minor problem with for MC was teens being unable to do a afterschool activity and join school as well until I enabled and disabled the function and it worked fine afterwards.

@LadyKyn thank you for answering. Do you get a popup when a sim invites you to a party? Of is it just a notification? Maybe I'm missing the notifications. Is it only friends who will invite you to parties or also acquaintances? Perhaps my sims don't have enough friends.

Do party invites happen when you are actually having a conversation with another teen? Or will you get a phone call with a party invite?

My sim got it through their phone. So make sure you pay attention to their phone as you can get a invite. Usually my sim is getting a invite from an acquaintance or friend of theirs. Thus far I've had invites out to a rated R movie and a college party.

@LadyKyn Ohhh you know what I've just realised? My sims all have their phones on silent! That may be why I'm not getting the invites! I will unsilence them and see if it makes a difference.

Yeah, me either. I got one invitation about going over to a girls house and she said no one was home, but I haven't gotten anything else since. He also didn't end up going to that anyway for some reason.

The only thing I got invited to was a pre party for the prom oh and for the after party after prom. But no parties in-between. My Sim was pretty busy though so it probably wouldn't have mattered. It would have been nice though since she was pretty popular.

I think it's random but ever since invites were nerfed from get together I barely get invites at all if ever. I feel like the % chance of getting an invite of any kind is just too low. If they turn it up people complain, if they turn it down others are not happy that they rarely happen. I really miss the frequent invites because if I didn't want to go it was easy to one click the no button 🥲 so I'd rather have them frequently then to not have any (or barely any) at all. No I have not gotten any yet but hopefully once I play longer and make more friends I will. 🙏

Side note. I remember I used to get invited ALL the time before the nerf. It was frequent so I just clicked no if I was in the middle of something because I knew I could get another one soon. Now they are so rare I scream when I'm in the middle of something and get invited. Last time my mouse was hovering over the yes/no button and I'm thinking to myself "I can't now I'm in the middle of something! But if I say no I may never get another invite! What do I do? WhAt dO I dOoooo??!! 😭😭😭" 😂😂😂
But I haven't been invited to those get together ruin parties in so long I can't remember the last time I did.

You guys have probably thought of this, but I've noticed the invites are always from an NPC with friend status. Maybe it has to even be a Good Friend, I'm not sure.
