Ah, so it's not EA. Darn, I had a brief hope EA was going to finally give us back the singing career. At least I know I'm not going crazy. Thanks for clearing up the mystery!
Depends on who makes it. I got a spring something or other a while back and it works just fine.
For the topic, I find myself thinking about which Sims music will go well with a movie version of the Book I published. So far, a version of the magic one is ahead.
When you find yourself wishing the doors and windows in your own dwelling worked as well as the ones your sims have. When I close a door I want and expect it to stay closed.
You come to the forums intending only a short visit during supper to catch up and see what's new and then get on with the evening. You then realize it's now past 8, nothing you planned is even started, and this includes the crockpot that will be the source of breakfast.
When you just finished watching back to back episodes of Star Trek Voyager or Enterprise for about a week & think I can make that magic portal into a transporter along with the sifi actor's set as the control station & the Batuu guns as stun weapons.
When I try to right-click rotate camera watching a Sims video on YouTube
Whew, I am glad I am not the only one
Awake.
Shake dreams from your hair

Choose the day and choose the sign of your day
The day's divinity.... The Ghost Song - Jim Morrison
When your wife tells your daughter, "You need to hurry up and change clothes...we need to leave soon," and your daughter's response is to jump into the air and spin around...with no effect. "It was worth a try," she responds, and all three of you laugh.
Simlish sounds more like a real language than some human ones do. There are times I almost understand what they are saying. Have that feeling in TS2 as well.
You are convinced that sims are living in the real world. The other day was stopped at an intersection waiting for traffic to clear in both directions when a car turned onto the street I was on. The driver, who was only a very few feet away so could see clearly? Nancy Landgraab! Other than outfit, that woman was a perfect match.
When you actually have a big note book to record all the CAS, build modes, careers, environment, NPCs, occults, relationships, skills & traits cheat codes. Plus, playing 6 different Timeline Game Saves. And that's playing only vanilla.
BHAAAAA…. Glad I’m not the only one! I even start a new notebook with each generation and have sim specific information like traits and things so I have record after they’re long gone.
When you know a foreign language but hesitate to speak because a Simlish word is trying to come out instead.
In my case, I wanted to say "Thank you" but I got confused whether the word is in that foreign language or Simlish. So, I ended up saying it in my native language. The word wasn't Simlish... Oof...
… you select the topper for the four-tiered cake and tears spring into your eyes because it's perfect!
Please play along.
You get emotional after almost a month of not playing when you lose a beloved sim to the Meteor Death from the Werewolf GP. Literally! I was getting ready to switch households when I got the popup that Ben Cole saw the meteor. By the time I cancelled the travel it was too late. I went as far as to have his sister bring him back with magic. He has since become a vampire, so he's technically still dead! LOL!!

I would have done a save recovery, myself, to prevent the death. But, that's just me. I'm a writer and if a chapter just flat out goes wrong (because the characters don't always read their scripts ahead of time and wing it) I just rewrite it.

I can relate. No notebooks, but 2 rather fat folders full of all sorts of such notes, not to mention building layouts and ideas. TS2 and TS 4 each have one, and it's hard to tell which is thicker.

You, too, eh? I'm of the write as ideas come school, rather than plan it out ahead, and the 3-act structure is anathema.
To the topic, you start simming in your sleep, so can't remember when awake if something happened in your game or a dream. Can be a source of story ideas, though.
