We are getting body hair for everyone with the High School pack. No armpits hair though (modders say that it will be hard to implement with how sims' body textures are laid out).
Well yeah, or you can simply not assign it.
I love that my female sims may now have body hair though. I think it's the first time, Sims 3 only had body hair for male sims?
I like the option for shaving too... Or choosing not to shave, especially in winter! 😅
I'd be fine with hair growth but I don't want shaving to be mandatory or anything. Razor industry made tons of $ off convincing people they *had* to shave their body hair. I don't even shave my facial hair. If they could find a way to add just a texture for armpit hair I would find it amusing. Doesn't have to be too realistic.
Not all people or especially girls even have body hair though? Just like not everyone gets acne. It's a harmone imbalance.
My mom has zero body hair and never shaved in her life. I barely have any just very short fine hair on the bottom part of my legs. (Probably from my hairy dad)
But it's so little I just shave it like once every month or less. So it's not particularly something I want for my girls but luckily its optional so everyone can be happy! 😁😁

That's why I think it should be optional. You can toggle it on or off and set a sim to have body hair or not have body hair and choose whether or not your Sim wants to shave or not. Not all people shave but many grow body and facial hair. Some women are just naturally hairy (just as some men are). It's genetic for some and hormones for others.

I have no use for such a thing.

The Sims 4 General DiscussionI wonder, though, if Splice of Life has that? Maybe check out the mod.
Oh, should've be more precise. It will be in base game when HSY releases.
But you don't have to use it though...
There's a way to turn it off, then?
Just uncheck "Enable Hair Growth" box in CAS

The Sims 4 General DiscussionAnd yet, The Sims doesn't have to be a 100% accurate representation of life.
