There are several "last screenshots" in this post, taken from the last few play sessions in one particular save. I'm sticking them all here in a serial sort of way because family style play isn't my usual fare (and I'd probably forget to share them, anyway). However, Markus and his new family's story are part of a larger one in my sims' universe, so... gotta be done.
First is a mini-scene soon after the twins aged up. Yup, aged those babies right up as soon as Markus and Vita got home from the festival, even before they had time to change clothes. One of the first things Electra did (firstborn of the two) was to ask daddy for a hug. Meanwhile Vidal looks on, apparently taking everything in for future reference.
Vidal seemed as pleased as his sister when the hug actually happened. Markus himself seemed happy, too.
But Markus soon learned that twins aren't necessarily gonna be alike. No, not at all.
When Markus wanted to hug Vidal, the boy was having none of it. Nuh-uh! That surprised Markus, who makes an extremely rare sadface.
Vidal seemed sorry to make daddy sad, so he tried to come up with some way to make it all better.
Obviously, he had a brilliant idea!
YES! Everything was all better again!
Finally mommy and daddy were able to grab some shut-eye. They were both exhausted after... things.
The next day... Well, technically the next day, but before sunrise. Waaay before. Long before mom and dad awoke. A certain bug thought dancing was more important than sleep.
When it was more like proper morning (still early, though, around 5am), the family gathered -- autonomously, I should add -- while mom read to Vidal and dad applauded his daughter's story-telling skill.
In another autonomous little gathering, everyone crowded into mom and dad's bedroom while Markus sang a song or two.
After the Watcher instructed the kids to play with the dollhouse, mom and dad apparently thought they had to be there, too. Mom seems to be giving advice while dad seems to be taking inspiration. After all, make-believe is actually his profession, but kids are the real experts on that.
Vita's brother stopped in for a visit, so it's a first meeting for Markus as well as Electra and Vidal. The kids are probably going to drive their uncle crazy with cuteness and questions. In this particular shot Vidal is regaling them all with a story. Or nonsense. Hard to say which. Markus was either wishing he didn't have to leave for his audition in about 5 sim-minutes or he was glad for what might seem like a bit of rest soon. Again, hard to say which.

When you declare your mother's boyfriend/fiance an enemy and he responds by establishing a curfew for you.
Ouch. That's certainly not the way to make friends or win influence. She looks as if she's contemplating running away …:O

I really feel sorry for her as I play out her backstory. Everyone likes this guy, especially her mother. He's only gotten better looking since he first arrived, like Bucky Barnes from Captain America. His friend sent a text calling Michelle a jerk for declaring him an enemy, yet this guy keeps breaking her old doll house every time she fixes it. She suspects he is cheating on her mom and she's the only one that can see he is a snake.
Her mom coming out to kiss and cheer him up.
She is going to be so happy when she leaves for prep school.
Great backstory @CK213 . @Kerrigan I mean that's one way to be queen of the Zerg (is it that Kerrigan?)
@mightysprite - Yep! Sara Kerrigan has been my main sim since the early Sims days! I used to get the CC and have her in costume but Sims 4 has excellent aliens so she's got the look without needing all the clipping of cc. She follows the Sims lore though and she's a pollination technician. LOTs of kids!
