    A recent (Sept 2021) Maxis job listing for a Senior Game Designer describes the game's "very unique playerbase" and proudly proclaims that 60% of The Sims 4's audience is women between the ages of 18 and 24. Of course, it mentions this for a reason, asking for applicants to have "deep insights" into creating the best experience for its unique playerbase.

      I don't know whether to actually answer the poll or not, seeing as I will be turning 25 (and aging out of the demographic) in July

      I turned 25 this year but I feel more like 20,5 mentally cause I can't freaking adult but also kinda like 52 physically so anyway i suppose I'm banned from the club either way for being #old hag no more best experiences for you simmingal :lol:

      I'm currently within that demographic, though it won't be for much longer. I'll be turning 25 in November.

      • > Option to toggle on/off random townie generation.
      • > Turn vacation worlds into residential worlds.
      • > Option to purchase separate worlds or a world pack.

      That’s a pretty narrow demographic. I think their Twitter demographic might skew that young, but they might be missing a sizable group that don’t “twit.”

      I'm curious to know how they know that and how accurate their methods are. Do they use actual customer info? Are people required to put their birth date in? I can't remember.

      I guess I can pretend I am in that age group. My mother always said she was 39 years old, even when I passed her! I would guess that their percentages might be off a bit.
