Can you believe, I am just finishing some I let go cold by accident? I have it when I'm not feeling well especially, and still dealing with this junky chest cough.

but I wouldn't go more than a bare simmer, a full boil would cook off some of the aromatics and leave it a bit flat.
I like it when the ginger is strong enough to be spicy, very soothing.

How about lemon and salt? or lime and salt?

@ignominiusrex I make fresh ginger and lemon tea with honey when I have a cold too. It seems to help a lot. Sometimes I add some garlic too. I hope you feel better soon.

oo la yum! gimme dat cheez!

@Elliandre I've never had nettle stew but I occasionally do like nettle tea. I don't think fresh nettle leaves are even available here, is that what you use to stew them? I've heard they're really healthy.

@ignominiusrex I've only had organic nettle tea from a health foods store, which is really good, but I've never tried the stew and looked it up and it looks really good. I found some recipes and was thinking of ordering the herb from iherb if I can't find it cheaper, do you know this store? If I can't make the soup with it, at least I can make a lot of tea lol. But I can't tell if it is fresh nettle or dried because it doesn't say: https://ca.iherb.com/pr/frontier-co-op-organic-cut-sifted-nettle-stinging-leaf-16-oz-453-g/30938 My grocery store doesn't carry the fresh leaf either. Apparently you have to boil the fresh leaves for a long time though, 10-15 minutes. I really want to try the soup.

    Ew, no pulp.
