And those ear biscuits look very similar, the line is right, but the things I remember had a straight line down the middle and were more long and thin, not so round. They kind of reminded me of thin banana chips except they were obviously machine made like these. But thank you because this is the closest thing I've seen so far! The glossy surface too.
By itself, like liver and onions, eww. Breaded and fried or incorporated into a more complex dish, yum. It's a textural issue more than a taste issue for me.

Sweet potato pie is YUM, I hate to admit that it's often better than pumpkin but it is. My mother made it. She wasn't a great cook but it's hard to make sweet potato pie be anything but good.
