4 Bed Industrial Starter is a lovely family starter home! @luckyheather The industrial style of the home, the exterior design, wall textures, industrial windows and the roofing are great! Sims will enjoy making drinks using the fizzy drinks machine, The pergola with the machine in it is great! The interior furnishings and open plan layout is very nice! Thanks very much @rosemow for pointing out what you liked about the Industrial starter and for saying what sims will enjoy using in and around the home. I did have to delete a few things to keep the price down but got there in the end. It was a relief when my builder sim could use the loft bed as it just fit there Thanks again.

Thank you @rosemow for those great comments about the Young Family Starter the home turned out a decent size as I used a modern house plan, I would have liked to have all 3 bathrooms completely done but I am sure the new couple will be able to finish them. The couple in the challenge are Eco minded so I hope this is a good starter for them, at least there is plenty of roof for Solar panels Thanks for saying how nice it is.

Thank you so much @rosemow for taking time to write the lovely review of the Bungalow Starter I was going to add an outdoors grill on the right front patio but I ran out of money to have it, at least there is plenty of space for the family to add it later Thanks again for your encouraging words.
Hi @Jenpayne87 and thank you it takes a lot of practice and patience I can tell you as im still learning after all these years Lol and that house the roof took me ages and I was moving walls in and out to match up with the roof and sometimes I just went back with the arrows and start again now you know why I love a flat roof when I can get away with it Lol. So just keep trying and for inspiration Google images of real houses as I do every week, I have loads of folders full of pictures so I can have a look for modern or Victorian..as examples. When I moved from Sims 3 to 4 my houses were terrible and I just kept trying to get better so I hope you have a go now and then and just enjoy yourself by making what you need

I've tried googling and I still have trouble with building houses as they are different in feet or size than real life houses.
Does anyone that is playing a single person household and is playing the celebrity career and aspiration live in a one bedroom house or do they live in a house that has more than one bedroom? I would like to live in a mansion but I don't know if I should live in a mansion that is one bedroom or a mansion that is more than one bedroom.

I like to build homes but I just don't have an eye for it like a lot of these other people and its mostly cause I never know where to place the stair if I'm doing a 2 story house.
@Jenpayne87 I dont always know where to put the stairs to 2nd floor and the best way is to put a stair in 1st, I like against a side wall best then work around it with rooms, or near the center of the ground level and do rooms around that. Trial and error for lots of us Lol.

Would you suggest putting it near the front door?
You can do @Jenpayne87 many homes have the stair opposite the front door, have a look at the EA homes already in the worlds to get ideas.

I think I'll do that and thanks for your advice.
