Ugh. This wait is the worst! I wish it were a midnight release. 😩
Does anyone know why it wasn't?
I'm wondering if it's to stop people from using VPNs to download the packs early, though I can't imagine why they'd care about that.
Maybe they just want to make it fair so that everyone receives the pack at the same time.
I thought it was because of EA play. Perhaps so they can make an announcement or mention 'launching right now the new EP'
In any case I don't mind if it doesn't release until this evening (in my time zone) It is only a few hours. And I will be waiting until the weekend at least before I can get it.
I think it is 100% EA Play. They changed the day, why wouldn't they change the release time, too? Then they post to watch EA Play. They broke all the norms specifically all around EA Play so it only makes sense.
Also, when were midnight releases unfair and problematic? Everyone got theirs at midnight their time so no conversions to keep track off and if it were the case everyone would have gotten it earlier than it stands.

I like the fairness of it, TBH. I just wonder if it might cause the server to crash or other technical difficulties since there will be a lot more people downloading all the same time.

I think 6 pm in the UK and 7 pm in France. It's 7 pm in the Scandinavian countries.
