Thank you @rosemow for that nice review of the Three House Estate I really enjoyed thinking up the brothers it was created for and what they needed for work and play and doing the interiors to suit each of them. Thanks for saying how much you like the homes and all the objects they can use both inside and outside. Thanks again for your comments.
Ok all my hinting in the world re 3 builds just went out the window. I understand pain and not being able to get out of bed or move without screaming so forget that I completely understand and feel really guilty now
I am sorry you are moving under such circumstances. I only hope you find somewhere you really want to be (or has lots of potential for you to work with) that can bring you some happiness which I think becomes so much more important when our health is bad as we find ourselves at home most of the time.
I just took a look at build challenge and see what you mean about it not being your usual style lol as while there are some lovely builds on there I found myself wondering where i would place a build with that much air space and have it fit in with my surroundings haha
2 crazy cat ladies sounds about right. I don't play with elders much in my game (probably because I don't want to be reminded of where I am heading-) however I have one glamorous cat owner knitting granny in my disney world WC and an old couple with a cat with and some funky cat clothing in BB-) Maybe you can help me decide where I put your Mrs Crumplebottom in 4 because one minute i think the city then the next i think somewhere else. She is my absolute favorite NPC of all time and when i play 2 I make sure my naughty sims get hit with that handbag on their trips to downtown haha
I hope all your hard work with your current challenge is paying off and you are not getting too frustrated
Hi @SPARKY1922 Ha ha I will play 3 sometime in future as I miss certain worlds a lot like the Future one, I love the futuristic homes, people and robots. Btw I dont know if you realize at the top of this page the little envelope you can private message people (PM) it can be useful at times and I friended you on origin just now I dont mind chatting here dont get me wrong
Thanks my move is going to be a bit of a shock being alone after over 30 years and health being worse, im Diabetic now too so I get told I cant eat most of my fave foods I love fruit and now it has too much sugar grrrr.
Yes the build is tall and it was so flat on the sides I had to add window sills, soon I have to do all that garden space, im thinking of a special area for the child that I did a room for in place of a big bathroom as there are plenty in that house. I made the garage into a vets practice room so 1 of the ladies can become a vet as its next door! I will make the 2 young adults(roomies) and 1 little girl for this home. The home is very colorful inside lots of orange etc so at least 1 lady will be colorful too I have the 90s sports wear Kit now so I hope I can use some of the clothes, I have not looked at it yet...will today prob.
Thats cool you have my Mrs Crumplebottom lookalike, I remember she used to carry knitting in that bag (read it somewhere) and I think the Trait from snowy escape suits her perfectly. Love her in TS2 she was great fun to watch.
I am enjoying that tall crazy home Lol just wait till you see the inside colors Lol Have a good day off to get on with it after a gallery wander.
I know we can PM but you asked for origin lol and believe me when I tell you that for all my years on this site I have little clue other than the main threads so please don't consider me an expert-) As I don't think it is really appropriate to be private chatting on public threads too much I will PM you and watch out for you in Origin and that should be easy as there is only 3 players on there
I have not seen your build yet for the challenge. I was taking a look on the thread yesterday and noticed how tall the builds are which personally I think might suit a city lot? I am sort of sims OCD when it comes to designing my worlds (with other player builds of course-) as it even has to look uniform in world view I know for sure you will do well though as your builds are always wonderful. Made me wonder if you have any 2 builds hanging around? I have all your 3 builds and downloaded/still use many of them but never thought about 2 as there is no EA site for 2 now ( not that I was around for the S2 years much) I only managed to play the base game for a little while when it first came out, loved it then went back to working 24/7. it was only when my health took a wrong turn years later that I began to play sims to pass the time and of course by then S3 was out so that was basically my first series I started with.
Morning @SPARKY1922 I just wrote your pm I was awake at 6 and I have Drs appointment at 2pm. So I can do more of the challenge house this morning Yes I agree the tall builds are nice for the City but I think mine is too colourful tho Lol, I like industrial for my city and I love the penthouse lots as the views up there are great, I wish there were more city Lots to build on, at least with 3 you can put lots down yourself! miss that..you make me miss 3 its not installed as I had a new hard drive and lost it for now. After I move and settled im going to save for a new comp as it will take ages and when this one is old I can buy another I have not got any 2 and I think I gave away the game/packs to a child next door years ago, I might have some packs left im not certain im still sorting and packing.
Well going in game now and I hope you have a good day thanks for your messages.
Thank you so much @rosemow I need those hugs going out always give back pain from walking, I taxi there and walk back to save money plus the taxi make sure I get there in time! Thanks I am going into game now and see what I can think up for that garden
Cat Lovers Town House is a lovely home for the challenge! Very nice exterior design, and the wood texture and the windows used are very nice! Very lovely furnishing of the interior! The pet theme of the build is great! The design of the garage as a vet clinic is great! Very nice wood texture of the furniture through the home. The orange and blue colour scheme of the rooms is very nice. The kids clubhouse is sweet! Kids will have fun playing there, both indoors and outside. The garden areas are lovely! Very nice outdoors kitchen, dining, pool and firepit areas. The platforming is great!
It is a very detailed and lovely townhouse home
Thank you very much @rosemow for those wonderful comments about the Cat Lovers Town House I do love that colour wood I used and I do like orange as its so sunny. I am pleased you like the kids clubhouse and I hope the child that lives there will have fun in there with friends. I will be creating the family to live in that home hopefully today Thanks again.
Justina is a lovely artist It is very nice that she likes cats. Her 90’s themed outfits are very nice.
Vicki is pretty and it is very nice that she wants to be a Vet, and her daughter Hope is sweet The cats are cute!
your Cat Lovers Town House is gorgeous and I absolutely adore the way you have added a kids clubhouse and all that lovely cat art everywhere looks so cute. When i first thought about a kind of high rise I honestly thought it might be difficult to work but you have definitely nailed it
Your sims are lovely and well geared to a BB style of life which i keep telling myself I need to play in more often
Thank you @SPARKY1922 I am so pleased you like the Town house, it was a difficult shell on the outside I had to make it more interesting and I found that wood tone is so warm I love it now The kids clubhouse I got that idea from one of the many googled images I have for inspiration, I just wish we had more outdoor kids fun like a slide for example. Its funny my daughter had a plastic one when little and she only used it a few times, it was more used by other children
Im glad you like the Sim family I spent far too long on their clothes and makeup Lol but worth it in the end if you and others think they look good Thanks for the great comments.
Golden Lily Kitchen is a very pretty kitchen based on the lily! The lily wallart is lovely! The colour scheme of the walls and furnishings complements well with the colour of the lilies in the wallart, and is so very calming and peaceful! Very lovely furnishings and layout! The middle feature area with the stools, the water fountains coming out of the orange flowers, the lily floor rug, and the drinks on the middle table is beautiful! Sims will enjoy sitting on the stools having fizzy drinks. Very nice windows double computer desk for sims to enjoy using the computers or reading the books from the bookshelf in the sunlight. The white curtains are pretty! The books are a great touch on the desk, and they will also like having drinks from the drink tray whilst sitting there. It is great there is popcorn machine maker for sims to enjoy eating popcorn.whilst sitting on the stools at the counter, eating meals and watching the tv. The slats look great with either side of the wallart near the tv! Very nice calming restful wood texture of the kitchen cabinets and counters. The kitchen items on top of the cabinets, on the wall shelves, the utensils, knives, olive oil on the walls, condiments, cookware and the fruit bowl are very nice homely kitchen touches. The planter boxes look great either sides of the corkboard ! The wall clock is a nice home touch. It is great that there is a bar counter for sims to enjoy having a drink from the bar after cooking meals. The aquarium is restful! It is great there are double stoves!
It is a beautiful lily themed kitchen! Thankyou very much for entering this week’s challenge
Thank you @rosemow for your wonderful challenge and for that detailed review of the kitchen once again the artwork was the inspiration for the room and I looked to google images to make sure that there were yellow versions of the flower in real life, I was pleased to find there are.
One Exp Micro Starter is a very lovely tiny living micro starter! Very nice exterior design and great glass roof car port! The flowers in the side areas of the outdoors are very pretty! The backyard pool, loungers and outdoors dining and bbq patio is great! Sims will enjoy spending time there. The red, white, and black color scheme of both the interior and exterior areas is very nice! Lovely interior furnshings and layout! The glass windows light filled sunken dining room is a very nice area to enjoy dining in the sunshine and great outside views! The windows tv watching and reading area with sofa seating is also a lovely nook to enjoy the sunlight. The design of the bedroom is very nice!
It is a beautifully designed modern starter!
Thank you @rosemow for saying my Micro starter is lovely Its been a long time since I built small its not easy for me so I enjoy the personal challenge now and then. It was not intended to be a starter but when I realized the price was low I just kept it that way I am glad you like it so much, thank you for telling me.
Old Electric Substation is a very nice converted home from being an electric substation! It is a lovely industrial style tiny living home! Very great exterior design!Very nice wall textures and the outdoors areas are great! The pool is very nice! Sims will enjoy growing plants in the gardening boxes and hydroponic gardens. Very nice balcony and backyard areas to enjoy making fizzy drinks. Sims will enjoy cooking on grill and dining outdoors in the air.Very lovely interior funishings and natural brown, blue and green colors. The layout is great!
It is a lovely sims game version of the lego model
Thank you @rosemow for such lovely comments I have been meaning to do that build for some time as I thought the model looked so cute! Thanks for saying it looks like the lego one
