Description: This small but modern home features an open floorplan, integrating the kitchen, dining room, and living room downstairs while maintaining separate bedrooms upstairs. The exterior is a mixture of wood, black concrete, and a tiled mosaic. The interior is finished in several complimenting colors. The landscape is maximized into patio space and neatly arranged foliage. The patio severs as a front porch with a small topiary, as well as a back porch with space to barbeque and a hot tub. #nocheat #nocc
Notes: I don't know why, but of all the things I've done, I'm particularly proud of this one. It's simple but elegant, and strangely, everything just came together with this one. The house, by itself, is only a 10x10 area, which is kind of cool. Anyway, I hope you like it.
Boxes are Nice is a lovely modern family home! @Metaphasic The exterior design, wall textures, and colours are very nice! The corner windows are great! The landscaping is lovely! Very pretty garden bed and lovely flowers on patio edges! Very nice outdoors dining patio for sims to enjoy sitting at the umbrella covered dining table enjoying eating meals on the grill. They will enjoy relaxing in the hot tub.The interior furnishings and open plan layout of the living areas is very nice! Very lovely colors! The sofa seating tv watching, music and reading area is very nice. The alternating coloured dining chairs in the kitchen to complement with the wall and kitchen counters and cabinets are very nice.
Did the shed build challenge from Deligracy and turned mine into an alien refugee family home 🤣🤣 First picture is the shed as Deligracy build it, after that is my transformation 😅 this build is Batuu heavy 🤣 and this is the story that I came up with:
The home of an alien family of 4 that had to flee their planet and crashed on Earth. The government gave them a lot with an abandoned shed, leftover wood and 2 shipping containers so they could build a new home for their family. The wood of the old broken fence was re-used to build part of the home and they used parts of their crashed ship in the build of their eco friendly home. Used bb.moveobjects to build. ID Starrats28.
Your Alien refugee family home is very nice! @Starrats The makeover is great! Very nice container style exterior design and the greenery is very nice on the walls. The glass roofing and the solar panels are great! The satellite dish suits the home well! The alien kids will have fun playing on the spaceship. The flowers through the outdoors areas are pretty! The truck with the flowers in it is lovely! Very nice interior furnishings and open plan layout of the living area. The wood textured walls in the living room and natural coloured wall tiling in the kitchen area are very nice. The leafy and branches wall patterns in the bedrooms are lovely!
I built this massive restaurant for Aljay's Blueprint Build challenge thread #BB16 February Origin ID: QueenV815 Gallery Link:Sakura Tea House Link to More Pictures:See in my builds thread! Notes: I found this one SUPER challenging because I've never built a community lot and I had a TON of ideas I tried to cram in there. I stayed pretty true to the shell which I am VERY thankful for. I think I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I included a Zen garden to walk through while waiting for a table or after dinner, a hip outdoor lounge area with a bar and outdoor kitchen. I included a coat closet at the entrance along with a seating area. Towards the front of the main dining room I added the "Bamboo Room" which is a private room for parties with a nice view of the Zen Garden. In the main dining room are tables and booths for different size parties. The private rooms on the platform area have Kotatsu Tables to have Hot Pot at. In the center of the platform area I added a waterfall and plant display with the restaurants Logo and behind that is a full serving station with extra supplies, a wine fridge, a sink, etc. In the indoor bar area, there are two bars and additional high-top seating as well as a tea tasting area. You can also see the stairs to the basement and service window to the kitchen in this area. Bathrooms are pretty standard, but I added some amenities in the women's bathroom like cottonswabs and lotion at the wall of mirrors so ladies can freshen up. Kitchen area is relatively standard with a few workstations, sinks, supplies, a big walk in fridge/freezer, simple employee bathroom, and a supply closet. I also added a locker area by the employee entrance for employees to leave their stuff. The basement just has a wine cellar, some storage, and a simple office for the boss. Hope you all like it and I would LOVE feedback (feel free to leave it on my build thread instead of here to not clog up this lovely thread). Pictures:

Been getting back into building as of late, and while it's not my most popular build out of the recent builds I've done, I'm rather fond of this one. Sorry, I don't have better pictures but I'm terrible with the camera in game.
-Basic Americana-
Basic Americana is a very lovely family home! @surlybadger Very nice exterior design, front /side porch and the flower box bay window is pretty! The garden beds are very nice! LOVE this! It's giving me movie-set vibes. It would fit right in to a rom-com for sure!
Oh my goodness, this page! So many spectacular new builds lately. Just wow.
I was attempting to do a starter home here, based on the waterfall style of art deco. It just didn't really work.
So obviously I'm not actually happy with how it came out, but I've put it on the gallery anyway. It's shell only and maybe somebody with better skills can do something with it. If anybody does, please send me pictures! The style has promise, but I lack the skill to make this style work, particularly as I always make my gallery builds free of mods and CC.
@AIRIS6962 - that incredible mansion you shared a few pages back - I downloaded that and put it where it belonged, on the 64 x 64 lot in Windenberg. I knew I would lose much of your work due to not having MOO and some of the packs, but it still worked very well.
But the funny thing is, later when I looked at the screen with all of Windenberg, I noticed that block is directly behind the one where I had placed my gothicy-style mansion (Ellengray Manor, which I shared a few pages back). And your house just DWARFED my "mansion". It just amused me.
Waterfall Starter is a lovely starter home shell! @PennyDreadPriestess The exterior design, brick texture, and the curved raised front porch entrance are very nice!

I apologise in advanced for what I have done to your shell but...
I kept the shape of the building, changed the roofing up a bit... then completely spooked it up and turned it in to a Vampire's hide-out! It's also no longer a Starter Home.
Anywho, you can find it on The Gallery here if you want to check it out haha.
Your makeover of Waterfall Starter into a Vampire’s home looks great! @lostatcore The landscaping, steel fencing, grey bushes and black tree suit the theme well! Very nice interior furnishings and color! The lot trails suit well the type of home!
@PennyDreadPriestess I feel you on your skills not matching up to the style you want to do, lol. However, that is a lovely shell and I might give it a go. Though I don't know if my skills could do the shell justice, we shall see!
I'm back at breakneck speed, but I decided to dip my toe into the tudor style again and see about some cottage aesthetic, this house is the product of that. I think it's a cute build, don't know if I will be going on a cottage building spree though, my landscaping is lacking so such undertakings. Lofty Cottage
Lofty Cottage is a very lovely Tudor style home! @surlybadger Very nice patterned walls, and the flowerbox bay and side windows and flowers in front garden are very pretty! The well is a nice homely touch. Very nice open plan interior layout and lovely warm colour and homely furnishings. The rugs and wood flooring are very nice
Fast Lanes Fashion is a very stylish fashion store with a great racing car theme ! @luckyheather The exterior design of the building, the large glass windows and the curved roofing look very great! Very nice balconies with the cars and seating! The car theme and cars throughout the build outdoors and inside look great! Very nice chequered patterning of the entrance area ground, which suits a car themed build well! The water fountains are pretty. Very nice design, layout and furnishing of each of the interior areas! The models look very nice , and platformed display tables are creatively great!
