Does anyone have issues with stray animals? I’ve seen a few cute cats I wanted to adopt but when I try to interact with them the action cancels or they suddenly vanish like the game reset it.I gave error trap installed and no error spawns
Sorry I haven't been present on here lately and commenting. (I've become a lurker. ) It's been stressful the last 3 days and due to my silly eyes I've still been limiting my screen time and saving most of it for writing my story (which I hope to post in the next few days here). @Emily4331 Lol, my cousin was a big Power Ranger fan. I kind of got in to the toys as a kid, but never watched the show. I liked toys that transformed into other things, like the Megazords and Transformers and Voltron.

Yikes, that doesn't sound like a fun time, having your appendix removed.
I just dropped in for a quick lurk and to post a final pic of Donna's household. This picture represents the only occasion on which I was forced to resort to moveobjects on and pick up and place a sim. They were impossible. The only reason I did it was I knew I'd be shutting down without saving as soon as the picture was taken.
So now I've got them to this point I have stopped playing and am making the video. I think this next video might be devoted to this lot as it has to cover the time from Mateo being made real to Julia's arrival. A lot has happened in between.
To think my original idea was a single sim household with just Donna in it. Then my issues with GoHere and Hybrid mods from NRAAS led to me adding Mabel. Mabel started out as a plant sim toddler from my library. The plant sim toddler I'd saved to the library was Petal who is in The Perfect Genetics Challenge. So Mabel and Petal and their joint imaginary friend, Cosmo, appear in both housholds. Since Donna's household is going to be moved to Moonlight Falls and mingle with the Perfect Genetics household I renamed Mabel and gave her a slightly different appearance. To know more you'll probably need to watch the video as I don't have time to type it all out here and also make the video and the video will be much more interesting and fun that what I can type here. So I'm outta here for now for a day or two while I work on the video.
I just opened up the Teen witch save, and sadly it is corrupt and no backup files work either since I usually
save as and no save before that mod, so the last update have to be the final one for that save.
I have deleted that save now, but the family was totally gone no avatars in the list, tried to evict but the same problem showed up.
I will just find sthing else to post about.
Introducing another BB family. The capehearts. captain and Candy. He's a respected man of business in the community and he fell for Candy. All he wants is a big loving family. Candy has other ideas. She's a gold digger and won't stop at anything to get what she wants.

I hope at least some of you remember me before I fell off the planet. If so:
Long story short: Without going into it too much, health issues that we thought were no big deal ended up being a bigger deal than we imagined. I am still not anywhere near as healthy as I was the last time I was here but I’m hopefully heading in that direction.
Between then and now I still played occasionally, but I didn’t play for story’s sake, just to play. I ended up playing a game/family based on two different “versions” (loosely) of my sim self based on a “goody two shoes” version and a very carefree version in my absolute favorite time period, the 1920s-30s. I added a few new sims in Roaring Heights based on actual people around that time and remodeled some that were already there a bit and just began playing. It’s been one of my favorite plays ever. I can post some of the few screencaps in the stories board if anyone is interested. It won’t be a written story like with my Niella story, just a “quick” rundown, which really wouldn’t be quick at all, just not nearly as detailed as when I’m telling stories. Just let me know if you’re interested
If you do remember me, you might also remember that other than a few nraas mods (and now 1 other that allows everyone to get to the dinner table together) I don’t use any CC - but I have expanded my Maxis items quite a bit since I was last here including Barnacle Bay. So I decided to make a pirate themed resort to send my twin sim selves and their families to. As I use NRAAS’s Traveler mod, I decided to make the resort in Sunlit Tides. I’m thinking it’s at least close to being done, but there are a couple of lighting issues I can’t figure out. I’m wondering if anyone would be interested in taking a look and seeing if they know - and also if anyone just wanted to play the lot. I wanted to share some pictures but only a few because I’d love to hear people’s fresh opinions There’s also an Easter egg or two in the lot that I did not take pics of Please keep in mind that not only is it still a work in progress, the lot was designed for a 1920s-1930s play, so you won’t find TVs, etc. There is the wave station just because it’s easy to pretend it’s just surfing There are also electronic versions of things that existed mechanically back then, like the claw machine
I’m also wondering if there’s a way to tell how many items are on a lot? There’s more to do just for aesthetics sake but I’m worried that there is already a large number of items on the lot. If so, does anyone know what the average is?

About the build:
While my husband was abroad in Bulgaria a few years ago he had the fortune to eat lunch on the deck of a real pirate ship turned restaurant called Mr. Baba (in Varna, Bulgaria)
and thought it would be pretty cool to actually stay on a pirate ship as a hotel. I was inspired by a pirate ship I found on MTS built by Pankcake 101 and by this concept art I found floating around on the web, with no artist credit or way to inquire about artist credit - it is not my art, just what inspired my sims 3 lot build.
I wanted to make the surrounding area seem like a Spanish port and tropical island. I know they’re nowhere near each other but I had to account for the hotel towers somehow lol. I absolutely plan on using several of these components when I build the water park that’s been on my list for awhile now
Lastly, as I did not build this lot to own as a resort but rather visit, I did not optimize space based on towers. I figured two fully upgraded towers was plenty for other visitors. I did, however, play a family that owned the lot for a bit to try to make sure there were no routing errors, etc. and it all seemed to function nicely for me, but others may or may not share that same experience. Also, please excuse the low quality screen caps - I am having issues getting PS to open so I just resized them in paint.

The middle two of these four stern decks are where the 2 luxury suites are and the top deck is shared by the two rooms.
Part of the sitting area and the master bedroom in the luxury suites. Each has their own bathroom and a second bedroom with bunks so families of 4 can stay in them. As you can see they both get their own private balconies, too. The bottom balcony is part of the dining area.
A little dining music provided by one of the crew - in the very right of the top image you can see a cannon in it's gunport. Below that is an outside shot of that same gunport.
If you'd rather enjoy the ocean air, breakfast (or any meal you choose the tables to be) on the bow deck can be stunning

I finally got my game to work properly, and got my lot loaded. I'm going to submit it to MTS, and will let everyone know how that turns out.
Since I was last here we got a new tower. It's not a custom piece, but it runs faster and I'm once again able to use SP when I play.
I had my appendix out just before Labor Day and spent 4 days in the hospital since I waited too long to decide I needed to go to the emergency room.
Still selling stuff on eBay. Making a lot of money since people can't really leave home right now.
I'm hoping to be around more since I've missed you guys.

It's Leisure Day! Ellie was invited to a party, but there was a glitch in the matrix and the party didn't happen. So, instead, I had Ellie invite Robert out on a date.
They went bowling. Both, as you can see, are dressed perfectly for bowling.
Ellie accidentally did well.
My hip hurts just looking at this. Also, shout out to the lone drummer in the back.
Robert also did well. But I don't know who won, because he was nauseous for some reason and ran to the bathroom.
They ate at this quaint harbor restaurant and then Robert got tired and left. They had a good time, at least. While they were at the restaurant, several other people vomited outside. I don't know what plague is going around Boroughsburg, but they better keep it away from me.
I also got this cool scenery of the city.
Carolyn: Claymore, what are you doing?
Claymore: That list you gave me, I'll take care of it all.
Martha: That Claymore taking care of the chores is like a blessing in disguise.

@Emily4331 Lol, my cousin was a big Power Ranger fan. I kind of got in to the toys as a kid, but never watched the show. I liked toys that transformed into other things, like the Megazords and Transformers and Voltron.

I just dropped in for a quick lurk and to post a final pic of Donna's household. This picture represents the only occasion on which I was forced to resort to moveobjects on and pick up and place a sim. They were impossible. The only reason I did it was I knew I'd be shutting down without saving as soon as the picture was taken.
So now I've got them to this point I have stopped playing and am making the video. I think this next video might be devoted to this lot as it has to cover the time from Mateo being made real to Julia's arrival. A lot has happened in between.
To think my original idea was a single sim household with just Donna in it. Then my issues with GoHere and Hybrid mods from NRAAS led to me adding Mabel. Mabel started out as a plant sim toddler from my library. The plant sim toddler I'd saved to the library was Petal who is in The Perfect Genetics Challenge. So Mabel and Petal and their joint imaginary friend, Cosmo, appear in both housholds. Since Donna's household is going to be moved to Moonlight Falls and mingle with the Perfect Genetics household I renamed Mabel and gave her a slightly different appearance. To know more you'll probably need to watch the video as I don't have time to type it all out here and also make the video and the video will be much more interesting and fun that what I can type here. So I'm outta here for now for a day or two while I work on the video.

Introducing another BB family. The capehearts. captain and Candy. He's a respected man of business in the community and he fell for Candy. All he wants is a big loving family. Candy has other ideas. She's a gold digger and won't stop at anything to get what she wants.

Captain wants to please Candy and would do anything to make her happy. She just doesn't really care.
Candy thought giving Captain a daughter would help so along came Claudia.
Unfortunately she developed into a bit of a diva. She also sees right through her mother.

I hope at least some of you remember me before I fell off the planet.
Long story short: Without going into it too much, health issues that we thought were no big deal ended up being a bigger deal than we imagined. I am still not anywhere near as healthy as I was the last time I was here but I’m hopefully heading in that direction.
Between then and now I still played occasionally, but I didn’t play for story’s sake, just to play. I ended up playing a game/family based on two different “versions” (loosely) of my sim self based on a “goody two shoes” version and a very carefree version in my absolute favorite time period, the 1920s-30s. I added a few new sims in Roaring Heights based on actual people around that time and remodeled some that were already there a bit and just began playing. It’s been one of my favorite plays ever. I can post some of the few screencaps in the stories board if anyone is interested. It won’t be a written story like with my Niella story, just a “quick” rundown, which really wouldn’t be quick at all, just not nearly as detailed as when I’m telling stories. Just let me know if you’re interested
If you do remember me, you might also remember that other than a few nraas mods (and now 1 other that allows everyone to get to the dinner table together) I don’t use any CC - but I have expanded my Maxis items quite a bit since I was last here including Barnacle Bay. So I decided to make a pirate themed resort to send my twin sim selves and their families to. As I use NRAAS’s Traveler mod, I decided to make the resort in Sunlit Tides. I’m thinking it’s at least close to being done, but there are a couple of lighting issues I can’t figure out. I’m wondering if anyone would be interested in taking a look and seeing if they know - and also if anyone just wanted to play the lot. I wanted to share some pictures but only a few because I’d love to hear people’s fresh opinions
I’m also wondering if there’s a way to tell how many items are on a lot? There’s more to do just for aesthetics sake but I’m worried that there is already a large number of items on the lot. If so, does anyone know what the average is?
I’m not really sure how to share a lot without putting it on the exchange, which I’m not ready to do at this point (the perfectionist in me lol.) But if there’s a way and someone would be kind enough to walk me through it without using the exchange I’d be so thankful!

About the build:
While my husband was abroad in Bulgaria a few years ago he had the fortune to eat lunch on the deck of a real pirate ship turned restaurant called Mr. Baba (in Varna, Bulgaria)
and thought it would be pretty cool to actually stay on a pirate ship as a hotel. I was inspired by a pirate ship I found on MTS built by Pankcake 101 and by this concept art I found floating around on the web, with no artist credit or way to inquire about artist credit - it is not my art, just what inspired my sims 3 lot build.
I wanted to make the surrounding area seem like a Spanish port and tropical island. I know they’re nowhere near each other but I had to account for the hotel towers somehow lol. I absolutely plan on using several of these components when I build the water park that’s been on my list for awhile now
Lastly, as I did not build this lot to own as a resort but rather visit, I did not optimize space based on towers. I figured two fully upgraded towers was plenty for other visitors. I did, however, play a family that owned the lot for a bit to try to make sure there were no routing errors, etc. and it all seemed to function nicely for me, but others may or may not share that same experience.

The middle two of these four stern decks are where the 2 luxury suites are and the top deck is shared by the two rooms.
Part of the sitting area and the master bedroom in the luxury suites. Each has their own bathroom and a second bedroom with bunks so families of 4 can stay in them. As you can see they both get their own private balconies, too. The bottom balcony is part of the dining area.
A little dining music provided by one of the crew - in the very right of the top image you can see a cannon in it's gunport. Below that is an outside shot of that same gunport.
If you'd rather enjoy the ocean air, breakfast (or any meal you choose the tables to be) on the bow deck can be stunning
