    -Color wheel
    -Overhaul of traits
    -Overhaul of emotions system

Seriously though the reason Gurus say we cant have more than 3 traits is because sims start acting all the same (even though the opposite should be true). But they all act the same anyway and that's because the traits are so useless. Have 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 12, it wont make a difference they'll still be the same. Traits mostly seem to influence their mood which is an entirely different gongshow altogether that needs fixing to be more interesting. I'd also like to see the return of "fear" and "death by fear" from TS2. Seems insane to have a game that has an emotion system as its main selling point and not have an emotion as basic and universal as fear.
My speculations on hints for future content:
    -Cars Update
    -Spiral/Diagonal Stairs Update
    -Hotel Pack
-Romance Pack (possibly combined with Hotel Pack)
    -Bands Pack
    -Royalty Pack
    -Fashion Design Pack
    -Fairies Pack
    -Werewolf Pack
    -France-inspired World

Overhauled babies. I want them to have all of the features shown in this video. Crawling, different outfits, learning to stand, toys, eating in a high chair, ability to be bathed, hair, etc. I'd also like them to overhaul pregnancy and make it possible to have higher order multiples pregnancies so sims can have quadruplets, quints, and so on, naturally.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBJqbJpbETs

Generations pack which adds the following.
For babies: Lots of CAS, BB such as cribs, toys, playmats, playpens, carseats, baby chairs, changing tables, strollers etc; and new interactions with siblings and parents, like peek-a-boo.
For toddlers: Lots of new CAS, strollers, new toys, interactions with babies like trying to talk to them or teach them to crawl. Arts and crafts like finger paints, coloring books, clay, etc. Lots of toys they can play with with babies.
For kids: New CAS, new toys and games for them to play, new interactions with babies, toddlers and other kids. Bikes, roller skates and skateboards. Events like sleepovers. Games like tag. I'd also like the ability to build a treehouse, similar to the way rockets in game are built over a long period of time before becoming usable.
For teens: New CAS, learning how to drive, more parties, group dates, more jobs.
Elders:A new section in CAS dedicated specifically to elders. New CAS, objects such as canes, walkers, rocking chairs, knitting, etc. Bingo and other games.

Overhauled personalities. Update traits so they don't just add moodlets, but actually change the way the sim acts. Give us more traits, especially some that are opposite to ones we already have, like a hates animals traits. Add new traits and aspirations that are unique to toddlers, kids, teens, and elders. Ditch the repetitive, basic whims and replace them with wants and fears.

Major overhaul of the sims so they are more in line with those of prior versions - as in interesting, reasonably smart, have personalities
Serious, in-depth game play. For once in this series.
Comprehensive bug cleansing, particulary those that have been around since the beginning.

New trinkets and paint jobs won't cut it. Dig out the wrenches and work on the mechanics.

There are so many more than 3..... but I will put my top 3 first.

    1) Free the babies.... I want real ones that we can place on a blanket, on a couch, in a crib, on a diaper changer, in a swing, or a bouncer or a stroller. Be able to sit in a rocking chair, sofa or other chair to rock baby, feed baby, play with and talk to baby. I want to be able to change their clothes, and take them out of the house with me for a stroll around the neighborhood, or to another lot. Also, make children that are taken away adoptable.

    2) A Farming expansion with farm animals and s country fair. And horses ( or a separate horse pack!. Canning stations to can vegetables, and fruits to sell, use or gift.

    3) A wedding/romance/honeymoon pack, can be separate packs. A candy store, and jewelry store.

More active careers with workplaces, more freelance careers including archeology, plumber, etc.

    Vacations, hotels/motels/casino’s

Amusement parks, carnival games, snow cone, cotton candy, Carmel and candy apple booth ( it would also be nice if they could add a home snow cone maker, and Carmel apples added to cooking). Zoo’s, and waterparks.

Cars/ filling station/ car wash/ Mechanic career, and working on cars as a hobby.

Magazines that you can read that may give you extra traits, abilities.

Hobbies like pottery sculpting, sewing ( with sewing machine, (patterns/color wheel) to make clothes, stuffed animals, rag dolls that you can wear, play with, and sit on tables shelves etc. and give as gifts). And knitting. Ballet/tap/gymnastics/karate for children and adults

Sports and games.... volleyball game ( ado a clutter volleyball for shelf etc.) more board game choices, (and clutter board game boxes to put on a book case table etc.), baseball and mitt to set on a shelf, table, bookcase etc. and to use to play catch ( all ages). A pool table. Some single/ double player arcade games. Surfing

More small animals rabbit, mouse, tarantula, lizard, snake, ferret. That you can feed, hold play with etc.

A cemetery lot, multiple lot combinations,

Likes and dislikes ( turn off and turn ons) with a large variety of them. I also liked the idea of taking traits into consideration for this.

    Memories like the sims 2

    A Medieval pack

    A pack with Chinese architecture/customs/clothes

More packs for children and toddlers Clothes, hair styles, activities, toys, skate board, bikes ( if they don’t come for children and toddlers in university)...... we get so little for the younger age groups. They should be able to play together too like in the sims 2 without toys.

Some things for teens and elders too.

Active school choice for high school, elementary, and day care. Add tweens and junior high/ middle school too. A new life stage between adult and elder would be great too.

    1. I'd like more swatches for appearance, clothing, furnishings and decor and a color wheel for easier matching.
    2. I like the hobbies idea a lot too and maybe more card and table games to play and activities to play.
    3. I also like the Rock band or classical duet, trio, quartet and such. Including a singer. I really like the musical aspects in the game and I'd like to see that expanded upon.
    4. More supernatural related stuff. More playable supernatural types, jobs, skills and that sort of thing.,

    1. Personality enhancements for sure (I like the suggestions of previous posters for fears, romance, etc.) plus an overhaul of the current trait system to make them actually display those traits in stronger and more varied ways

    2. Kids able to play with each other without an object, like tag or hide-and-seek

    3. Gradual height changes for toddlers, kids, and teens

    - Overhaul/replace traits and aspirations. right now none of them are fit for purpose and there are far too few to work from.
    - Redo the entire autonomy controls and make sure proper things take priority over absurd things.
    - CAS updates for both color wheels on all stuff that makes sense and adding all the various outfits choices (fitness, hot weather, swimming...) into CAS instead of using the dresser afterwards.

    1. More social interactions and more things for our sims to do besides nightclubbing and bars. Especially family related activities which would include toddlers. I don’t play family play often but when I do, I’m always disappointed with the lack of family related things to do outside the home. Maybe that’s why i forego family play a lot. I downloaded a nice bowling ally off the gallery so my families go bowling a lot or out to eat but unfortunately have to leave the toddler at home.

    2. Definitely want AI improvement. That’s a biggie for me. I will play with autonomy off until my so called smarter Sims actually become smarter.

    3. I agree with the Romance overhaul. This ones my big pet peeve. I could go on and on about how this needs fixed along with family play. It definitely needs improved but I think there’s already a “sort” of chemistry system in place. For instance, last week I was playing a single young adult female. Vlad stopped by to visit her. They had never met yet. I send her to the door to do a “Friendly Introduction”. (I gave Vlad a very good makeover. He’s quite handsome in a distinguished way in my game). She does her introduction and then all of the sudden he yells “Terrif!” with a fist pump and they headed to her Sauna for autonomous woohoo with zero prompting from me. There was no other conversation before the woohoo. I took it to mean they had instant chemistry. This has happened to my sims before. It just doesn’t happen very often but I like it when it does. 😊 PS.... just to note that I do have the Mccc mod. Not sure if that influenced that or not.

    1) To stop hearing about how “expensive” and “time consuming” it is to create animations. It’s a cartoon, It’s a video game. They move. That’s like the main point. I don’t know why some Maxis comments are like “how dare Simmers ask for more animations! The nerve!” I’m not reading a book here, I’m trying to play your controllable cartoon.

No. You clearly have done zero research on the matter and have never animated something in your life.

Animation is one of the most tedious, time-consuming, frustrating experiences in existence. We are not talking about pulling a rig into Blender and moving bones to create a simple hug as most Sims players do, it is far more laborious than that.

To make a drinking animation, you have to animate the neck, head, eyes, mouth, chin, nose, shoulders, arms, fingers, and the object as a base. You then need to consider the fact that the Sim could be doing something else, which you also have to animate. Is the Sim talking while drinking? You have to make that, too. You are not making one animation, you are making a lot of them for one purpose.

Then, they have to make sure these animations fit into the style of the game, work with objects, do not cause weird glitches, and do not cause performance issues as the animation is too long and/or too short.

When I did animation, we spent a month making a simple handshake. A month. When we submitted it, the animation did not work and we had to go back and check each key, each frame, each split-second of that animation to figure out what caused the issue.

So, EA has a right to tell people to chill. If you want more animations, download some rigs, download Blender, and do it yourself. Judging from how high and mighty you are about it, you should be adept at it. I await your animations and content.

    As for my three points:

    1. I would love to see more content for children, such as sleepovers, bunkbeds, forts, et cetera

    2. A hobbies pack

    3. More traits and personality for our Sims

I just wanted to say this was very insightful. I knew animating was hard but I didn't know it was "that" hard🤯🤯🤯🤯 it's more understandable why they reuse so many animations then.
Zombies, oh please oh please give us zombies!! :'(

Bands, Fairies, and another Vacation or maybe a Honeymoon spot for my Sims to go to. I always thought an Ocean Liner Honeymoon might be fun or maybe a Winter Lodge with Skiing and such.

    1. Traits to actually matter and make a difference
    2. More aspirations (and not just play walk throughs, actual things to aspire to)
    3. Bug fixes to actually work. (IE. the drinking water bug, apparently fixed yet my sims still do this uncontrollably and the alien/vampire hybrids are still born and not fixed)

    1) Return to open world (like Sims3)
    2) Sims that don't look like cartoon characters (Sims3 was better)
    3) Sim "stalling" to be fixed. Nothing like having your Sim stand there with a dirty plate in his hand for 4 game hours, and NOTHING will get him to move until his plumb good and ready...

For me, its refinement things rather than big ticket items/packs. In the coming year, the three things I'd most like to see in order from most important to least:

More trait slots per sim. - Three just never felt like enough and I always feel like my sims are all so similar even with very different traits because there's just not enough of a spectrum of personality traits per sim.

More traits to choose from - Don't get me wrong, we have some wonderful ones to choose from, I just feel like we need some more diversity in trait choices.

Burglars! - I just miss those little monsters so much I can't tell you any better. I miss that stupid striped shirt and cat burglar mask they wore. Also, I do also miss the annoyance and irritation I felt every time I realized I'd forgotten the security system when building and decorating my lot.

***Honorable Mention*** I'd love to see a tabletop/indoor version of both the microscope and the telescope. It's really bothersome that my sky-watching sims cannot do so from home if they happen to live in an apartment or small lot because there's simply no room for something so huge!
Loving yourself is the most simple and complicated thing you can do for you.

1.werewolves: one of the missing occults I hope to get, with the ability to customise their transformed state.
2.a historical pack : an old world with no cars or modern buildings in the surrounding
    3. Personality overhaul with more traits, a the option to select preferences (favourite color, food,...), chemistry with turn ons and turn offs similar to the system we had in sims 2.

@NoTalent I am in no way disputing that it is a time-consuming process. It is just an odd marketing move for one of the world’s largest video game companies to complain openly about it, blatantly recycle animations, and make it seem like players are being demanding when they want more unique animations in their gameplay. Your very first request is loaded with custom animations and by your calendar should take a few years time. So obviously it’s something you’d like to see too 🙃

    Just three? Tough call:

    1. Werewolves
    2. Personality overhaul or at least interests
    3. New vacation destination – preferably alpine/winter or Scandinavian-themed, but I’d be happy with anything really!

    My 3 picks would be:

    1) Dating. Including dating activities and more romance interactions. I would especially love a dating website or app (like Tinder) where you can connect with Sims who are single & ready to mingle.

    2) The return of zodiac signs with impactful influence on Sim's personalities. This pack could also include horoscopes that have a chance to predict something that would happen to your Sim that day/week. The addition for fortune tellers would also be a cool activity your Sims could go do.

    3) Generations.

    1) free babies
    2) improve traits so that each makes a difference to personality
    3) bunk beds

There are so many major things I could include, but I thought I'd put down one less major item as an option :)
